    Hi,

Now, you have only to deactivate the Brizy editor from this post. For this, you have to click on "Back to WordPress editor" button and then all will revert. See here.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I did that but unfortunately when I clicked back it was blank.

Also, could you please help me with my other question to do with headings. I am trying to change the font and size of the headings and it does not work. Neither changing it in the post template, or changing it in the wordpress editor seems to work.

If I have a post template set up, I should be using the word press editor right?

    Thanks

When I enter the "post content" element I cannot figure out how to change the font style and size beneath the photos and the font style and size beneath photos. It all stays the same as the paragraph styling.

The only thing I can do is make the font bold or italicized in the word press editor for an individual post.

But when I go into my post template and edit using brizy, and I try to change the heading font and size, nothing happens.

    Hi,

Thank you for all these details! Fist of all could you please check if you have the latest versions for Brizy Free 2.2.6 and Brizy Pro 2.2.2? If you don't have them, could you please update them?

1 - "unfortunately when I clicked back it was blank" - this may happen if you tried to add some Brizy elements on the post or of you clicked on the "update" button. If the content is already over, we can suggest you revert to a previous version of the post and restore a previous revision.

2 - " I am trying to change the font and size of the headings and it does not work. " - if you create a template for all posts, you have edit with WordPress all the posts. Inside the WordPress post, you have to set up the headings and all other details. In the Brizy template, you only will style them. To be able to style heading s and paragraphs, you have using the Post Content element and not the #Post Content dynamic tag. Using this dynamic element, you have to click on it and go to the "Typography". There you will find the options for all typography types (paragraph, H1-H6). See here. Also, you can change the colours for these typography types if you go to the "Colors" option. See here

3 - "When I enter the "post content" element I cannot figure out how to change the font style and size beneath the photos and the font style and size beneath photos." -  how did you add the text beneath the photos? Does it have the paragraph tag? In this case, yes, this text will be formatted as the simple paragraph. If you want to style it in a different way, I can suggest adding a Custom CSS code.

Let us know if we can help you with something else.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Ahh! Ok I think I got it! I think I must have perhaps used the #post content instead of the element. I am not sure but I redid it to make sure that I am using the element and it seems to be working - for now. Before I was changing the H1 H2 etc but nothing changed.
    :)

-Could you tell me then when you might use the #postcontent and what the differences between the two are.

-So you assign the styles in the brizy template and then in WordPress choose which lines are which heading right? Do you recommend making a template for all blog posts as I have done? What would be the other option? To use more global blocks or something? I think if I just used brizy editor for every individual post, then if I wanted to change something in the future, like the font or something, I would then have to go back and change each individually. ? Or is there a better way completely that you recommend? Haha.

-For the text beneath the photos I used the "caption" feature in WordPress. Paragraph tag? It looks the same font as the rest of my paragraph. I know nothing about CSS codes unfortunately as I am new to all this and not doing it professionally. Is there some way I can style the caption differently?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply!

1 - "Could you tell me then when you might use the #postcontent and what the differences between the two are" - The Post Content element is the updated version of the "#Post content" dynamic hashtag. We build the Post Content element to solve the problems generated by the "#Post content" dynamic hashtag. Therefore we recommend using the Dynamic element. The dynamic hashtag can be used in a situation that isn't possible to use the dynamic element but these cases are very rare.

2 - Yes, I recommend creating the structure of the post content in the WordPress editor and there set what text will be set-up with H1, H2 and so on. Yes, in this case, I recommend creating a template for all blog posts because mostly all of them has the same design and structure and it is easier to manage.
The other option is not to create a template for all blog posts or each category of posts and edit them individually with Brizy editor. It is more time consuming but all posts will look differently. Regarding this "if I wanted to change something in the future, like the font or something, I would then have to go back and change each individually. ?" - this depends on what you will want to change and how do you want to build the posts. If you will have the same block on all posts, you can make it global as header and footer and display it on all posts. Therefore each modification you will make will be reflected on all posts. If you want to modify a detail on a single individual block that is placed on a single post, then you will need to go there on that post and make the modification. But if all posts will look almost identically and you plan using only global blocks, I suggest creating a Brizy template for all posts. It is more rational, time-consuming and server capacity.

3 - Unfortunately, the image caption can't be edited with Brizy and another way than adding some custom CSS, I can't recommend.

    Best regards,
    Sandra
