Woocommerce Categories Sub Categories Filter
Hey.
There seems to be limited functionality to the Woocommerce Product Categories in order to display them accordingly. Every time I use the Categories option it always displays all the categories, including sub-categories. I'd like to see that I could only display main categories and then when I click the main categories I would only like to display the according sub-categories for that main category. This seems to be impossible.

Hi,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We could reproduce it and already informed our team regarding this. They will investigate this issue and will find a solution for it. At the moment, I can recommend not setting up some subcategories.
Thank you for your understanding!Best regards,

Hey. Yeah just saw that you say you are working on a better filtering system which is probably what I'm referring to and will solve this problem.

How far are they with fixing this? This is quite a problem for many sites that use a lot of sub categories.

Hi,
We are still investigating this inconvenience and at the moment we don't have some news related to it. We are discussing this topic because can be the case when user wants to display all posts from a certain category, for example, all Flowers with all subcategories Roses, Tulips and so on because these sub-categories take part from Flower category. What do you say about this? Could I find your opinion regarding this?
Best regards,

Hi, this problem is still happening. Is there any update?

Hi,
We are still working on a Filter element which will work for blog and products. In the interim, if you would like to add a product filer for WooCommerce, you need to use a plugin. You could consider YITH WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter You could see the YITH filter in action on this Brizy website: https://vitacomfort.nl/
