is there a way to set dynamic data variable for button
Hi. Just wondering if there is a way to assign or set dynamic data variables?
example I created a button and I want to point it to a page. normally you would click on the link attribute and just set it. but what if I'm doing development on the local server then later on plan to migrate to production. I have no way of changing the local URL to the right URL. Tried several plugin already but for some reason I think some parts of the layout are encoded and you cant just search and replace in the database.
I saw a dynamic button but it will only let you chose. URL, SITE_URL, AUTHOR_PAGE and etc. is there a way to do it this way like SITE_URL/join-us or something?

or maybe can take site options variable as dynamic data?

Hi,
In the situation, you exemplified I can suggest adding the link to the page using the short structure like /page/subpage and not using the long structure https://site-url/page/subpage because in this case, the link will be something like "hardcoded" and will not be updated to the new site domain. In case you will use the short structure, the links will be updated to the new domain and you will not need to change all URLs from the site.
In situations when you need to add the link to the homepage, you have to select the dynamic URL "Site URL" https://jmp.sh/xNbir1T. Therefore, when you will migrate to a new domain, this button will link you to the homepage but with the new domain of the current site with the current domain.Let us know if we can help you with something else.
Best regards,
