Old to New Website
I am about to pay for Brizy Premium and I have a few questions. First ill explain the situation then ask the question.
I am about to build a website and i would like to maintain the existing website before we can launch the new one. The old website is not based on wordpress. Brizy premium has cloud features.
Is it possible to install and create a website on a separate subdomain then when i am done designing Install wordpress on the main domain setup Brizy plugin and pull what i designed from the cloud set it up and have it ready to go?
The other methods i can see of maintaining the previous non wordpress site require me to use a code editor at some point

Hi Baru,
Is the old site created on the Brizy Cloud? If the old site isn't created on the WordPress or on the Brizy Cloud, will not be possible to install there the WordPress and then the Brizy Free and Brizy Pro. Also, it isn't possible to migrate this site (this is not based on the WordPress or Brizy Cloud) to the Brizy Cloud.
If this site is created on the Brizy Cloud, then yes will be possible using the Block and Layout Sync feature and migrate all pages from Brizy Cloud project to the WordPress site. In this case, on the WordPress site, you will need to have activated the Brizy Free and Brizy and also connect it with your Brizy account. More about this feature you can find here.
Best regards,

The old website is not based on Brizy.
I need the old website to be active as I build the new one.
I was thinking that i will create a subdomain, install wordpress and then create the new site and save the blocks on Brizy cloud. Untill i finish.
When I fiinish i will install wordpress on the same location where the old website is, which will effectively delete it, then login to my account and then load all the blocks i had designed earlier.
Is that feasible.
Another question. Once i design a website with brizy premium will it be taken down if i dont pay for premium next year?0 -
Hi,
You can create a new website on WordPress and there design all the pages you need with Brizy and them sync them to Brizy Cloud. Unfortunately, will not be possible to sync the Brizy Cloud Saved blocks and Layouts to your old website because it isn't created on WordPress. If the site would be created on the WordPress you could sync the Brizy Clous Saved blocks and layouts. If you want to add the WordPress on the non-WordPress site, please read some article about this, I suppose then when you will install the WordPress on this old site, all you created will be removed. Also, I want to add that you can ad the Brizy Saved blocks and layouts only in the pages created with Brizy.
If the Brizy licence will be expired, you will be able to see all content you created with Brizy Pro and have access to the current Brizy Pro features and options but you will not receive the next updates and features. On Brizy Cloud will be the same but in this case, you will lose the hosting for the sites you published on the Custom Domain on our hosting and will be able to publish sites using this publishing method. Therefore, you will need to find another hosting service and publish there your site. Or you can renew the Brizy license and you will not lose the Brizy Cloud hosting.
Best regards,
Sandra0
