Page Not Found after uploading image

I'm trying out Brizy on SiteGround. It looks great, but I seem to have hit a nasty bug. What happens is:

1. Image upload (<1MB) fails with a message indicating upload failed for some reason.
2. A popup then says that the page needs to be reloaded.
3. After clicking OK, Brizy editor is replaced with a Page Not Found error page.

Reinstalling does not fix the problem. I'm at a loss here. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

My setup:

Theme is twenty-twenty.
All other plugins are disabled.

  Hi,

  Could you please check if you have the latest version for Brizy Free 2.2.3 and Brizy Pro 2.2.0? Did you receive this error only when uploading an image? If you make any other modification on the site, all is working fine? How did you upload the image? Did you upload it through WP Media Library? What format does have the image? Could you send us some screenshots with the errors you found? If you go to the WP Media Library, can you make some modification to the image (e.g. rotate or crop it)?
