Using brizy pro with blocksy transparent headers
Hi there, not sure if this is a blocksy or a brizy problem, but I want to use the transparent & sticky header option in blocksy and use brizy for the content. Blocksy provide a starter kit created along with brizy which does exactly this and I have replicated it using brizy and blocksy.
So I tried to create a home page and now find that I have created it, and can no longer access the initial brizy block to edit it (eg if I want to change the background image) - the brizy block edit tab is displayed, but when I move my mouse over it, the tab disappears. Very frustrating! Any idea what might be going on?
Thank, Gerry

Hi Gerry,
I'm not sure how your page and blocks are created, but moving the section you want to edit below wouldn't be a solution for you? You could change its location, edit it, and then put it where it needs to be: https://jmp.sh/eUzrlJk

I am totally new to wordpress and also selected blocksy + brizy with a transparent header starter site. I am having a related problem where when I add a new page (and select default template), the transparent header is there, but any block I add always sits below it on the page, so the transparency is useless. I have no idea how to replicate the blocksy+brizy starter site transparent header functionality, even from within the imported starter site.

Hi,
This seems to be related to the Blocksy settings: https://jmp.sh/84LOLQ2 For more details please contact Blocksy team.

Hi Alex, I've just followed your suggestion but it hasn't made any difference. I still can't access / edit the block the blocksy transparent header is sitting on - eg to change the background image - the block editor symbol is visible until I move the cursor over it. Its as though the transparent header is on top and blocking access.

Alex, I should add that the block with the problem is a 3 off slider - the other pages with a transparent header are OK.

Can you please send a screen recorder so I can see the problem? I just checked it and I can edit the section behind the transparent Blocksy header: https://jmp.sh/W2SRV6T

Hi Alex, I'll set up the screen recorder at the weekend - my work around is OK for the moment! Thanks for your help
