set video background in auto play

Dear BRIZY Team,

I would like to setup a page element that covers the full screen (so full height) hosting a background video that autoplays in a loop as soon as the page gets loaded. 

Something looking like this with the video playing:

 

 

So I setup a page element, make it full width and full heigt. I add a video element, I upload the video and save it. Now what i get is the following:

 

 

Is there a way to setup the video that it is already playing when the site gets loaded, without hosting that grey cover image and having to press play?

    But this only works with youtube or Vimeo. Any possibility to use .mp4 video files?

    Unfortunately, no. Custom video is available only for the video element. For background you can use only Youtube or Vimeo.

    Ok, thank you for your response. So just to clarify, there is no way to use a custom video with autoplay without Youtube or Vimeo right?

    Hi,

    you can, but not as a background. If you're using a simple video element, you can upload a custom video. But, for video background, you can use only Vimeo or Youtube.

    yes but when using a simple video element and uploading a video, can I set it to "autoplay"?
