Global Color does not work
Hello,
I was working on a site and wanted to change colors globally.
1.I saw your video tutorial here:
https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360044229471-Global-colors
After changing the colors I went into the text and assigned a different color that I liked.
Before the global change "Above Title" and "H2" were Orange # f58207 and Celeste #007cff respectively
In the video you can see that I have set globally
Purple # e24886 and green # 60c4c1.
Then I assign "Above Title" Purple # e24886 and "H2" green # 60c4c1.
In brizy editor everything is ok while when I go to the published page the colors have not been taken.
Firefox and Crome cache were cleared before making this video
https://recordit.co/U2iyb0KmfZ
If I inspect the "Above Title" I noticed that in the (index) there are 2
.brz .brz-cp-color4, .brz .brz-bcp-color4 {
. color: # f58207;
}
.brz .brz-cp-color4, .brz .brz-bcp-color4 {
. color: # e24886;
}
Respectively Orange the color I had previously set and Purple the new color that I set globally.
Why is orange displayed if I have deleted it from global colors?
Is this a problem you have already encountered?
The strange thing is that if I go back to Brizy editor and go to Above Title and select the color and move the slider a millimeter the color is taken both purple and green but they are not what I want.
If I go back to inspect element I notice that it is no longer set to .brz .brz-cp-color4 but to element.style {
. color: rgb (224, 67, 130);
}
How can I solve this problem? Can you help me?
2. I would like to know if there is a way to export global settings for both colors and fonts from one site to another without having to do it manually.
If this is still not possible I would like to know if you have this feature planned.
3. Synchronization of templates and layouts in the cloud:
We have created a number of Themes and Layouts, however when we connect to Brizy cloud we don't find them. Why?
Templates and layouts are only visible from wordpress?
Why aren't they visible in the cloud?
I await your info
Thanks
Maria

Hi Maria,
Thank you for all these details.
1 - There can be a problem with the cache from inside the site. Could you please add a clean cache plugin and run it? If you add another text element, set it with Subtitle and select the newly added global colour, is all working and displaying fine?
2 - If you migrate the site from one hosting to another one, then, in this case, all global settings (inclusively, fonts and colours) will be exported too. If you want to export only the global settings from one site to another, unfortunately, this isn't possible to do at the moment. We are working on the API development and this can offer you this possibility.
3 - Could you please check if you connected to the Brizy Cloud with the same email you connected for synchronization in the WordPress? Also, could you check if the email where you log-in Brizy Cloud is the same with the email you are using for Brizy account and where you have the Brizy Pro? You have to connect to the same account to have access to the Brizy Pro for accessing Brizy Pro features (inclusive access to Pro layouts and block).
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hello Sandra
We cleaned the cache with Wp Optimize but it doesn't work.
We also tried to disable all plugins except the Brizy and Astra theme but it doesn't work.
If we add a text and set as “Subtitle” and add the global color this is not taken.
The old orange color always remains.
Here is the video:

1. We noticed some recurring problems:
in the main root of the site in the php_errorlog file
[17-Dec-2020 20:29:54 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: Invalid post id provided in wpcontent / plugins / brizy / editor / entity.php: 34

2. This site, where we have the color problem, is on the same Hosting, and was cloned using Softaculous from Cpanel. The problem do you think is the cloning? is it better to use a migration plugin? Even if it is the same Hosting?
I hope you will soon be able to activate the import of color and font settings.
3. We were able to log in with our account at Brizy Cloud. At first we didn't see the Themes and Layouts we had saved in Wordpress. Then we opened a project, created a page and in the Brizy Cloud editor we found our themes and layouts which we saved.
We believed that the themes and layouts were on the home page of our Brizy Cloud account.For our customers' sites we activate a Brizy cloud account to save their themes. Since our Brizy Pro license is installed on their site, which Cloud version do our customers have: Personal or Studio? Where do you see it from?
I wait for your instructions
ThanksMaria

Hi Maria,
Thank you for your cooperation and all these details.
1&2 - Problem with colours and cloned site - Could you provide us with some other details? On the "original" site do you have the Brizy Free and Pro installed? There, do you have the same problem with colours? If on the "original site" all is working fine, therefore, the problem can be in the cloning process. Now, could you give some details about this? The original site and the cloned site are on the same hosting but I suppose they have different domains. In this case, we suggest to migrate the site and not only to clone it because you need to create a special database, make some configuration and other important details. Also, I want to add that in the process of migration a site from one domain to another, the first site (the original one) will be functional the same. See here a good article regarding how to migrate a site to a new domain.3 - Great! Thank you for updating us regarding this!
Between Brizy Pro Personal and Brizy Pro Studio is only a difference and it doesn't about the builder itself. In the Personal License and in the Studio license you have the same Pro feature and the same functionality. The difference between them is that having Personal license you can build with Pro features only 3 sites but having the Studio license you can build unlimited sites with Pro features. In both cases for one year.
Now, you can't activate the Pro features for a certain customer because the Pro license is activated on your account. You can create the site with Pro features for a client and then add it on the client's subaccount. For this, you have been invited to the client's subaccount as Manager.Thanks!
Best regards,

Hello Sandra,
1. Cloning with Softaculous: the original site works perfectly and the global colors can be changed and in the text "H2" or Sub title "are taken.
The cloned site is on the same hosting and they have a different subdomain.
Now let's try a migration and see if the color problem goes away.
Soon we should renew hosting, among various Hosting which one do you suggest for Brizy wordpress plugin?
2. Brizy Cloud: Thanks for the explanation.
Regardless of personal or study license, I would like this clarification:
Brizy is a free plugin that can be installed on any wordpress site.
When a user enters the editor and wants to save the themes or layout, Brizy asks to save them to the Cloud or to "Skip" and save only on their hosting without syncing whit cloud.
In this case, the user registers to the Cloud with the free plugin on this screen:
https://markuphero.com/share/HmwVi1UmpbIpW0uKZE4G
How long will this user have a free account in Brizy Cloud? a year or forever?
What kind of Brizy Cloud account is assigned to those who sign up with the free plugin?
Since you offer a free cloud service to save and sync themes and layouts, what will you do with this user's email? Will you send Brizy promos via email?
All lawful and in your full right, but I would like to understand better to maintain a good relationship with my clients.
I await your news
Thanks
Maria

Hi,
1 - Here, for the migration process I can recommend the All in One Migration plugin. It will copy all files and folders. It is the easiest method.
Regarding the hosting - we can recommend SiteGround, CloudWays and InMotion. See here more details about these recommendations.
2 - To this question, I want to say that all Brizy user who has a Brizy account have access to the Brizy Cloud too. Brizy Cloud and Brizy WordPress plugin are broadly the same builders with an environmental difference. Brizy Cloud works on our servers and it is standalone by WP but Brizy WordPress plugin can be used only in WordPress as a plugin. Therefore, if a user has a Brizy account, he can access the brizy.cloud, log-in there with his Brizy account and be able to create sites in Brizy Cloud. Broadly, this is the way we recommend to use. We suggest this because in case the user has the Brizy Pro to be able to access the Pro features in the Cloud environment too.
Back to your certain question, when a user has only Brizy Free plugin and creates a Brizy account from the form you share us, the user creates a Free Brizy account. In that account will not be any mention about Brizy Pro because he doesn't have it. This account will be Free till the moment this user will want to buy a Brizy Pro license. If the user will decide to buy a Pro license, it is recommended to use the email of current Brizy account and not create a new one.
The Brizy user who registers in Brizy using that form and users who register using this form are the same. If the user will not want to receive Brizy email, he can unsubscribe from our emails.Let us know if we can help you with something else.
Best regards,

Hi David,
I apologize for this inconvenience.
I confirm it is an issue from our latest Brizy plugin updates. Our development team is informed already and we are working to fix this issue. I will come back with an additional notification about this fix.
Until we will have a new release (we will inform all users about the new version) please, downgrade to the previous plugin versions:
- To downgrade the FREE plugin, go to this website - https://wordpress.org/plugins/brizy/advanced/, scroll down to the Previous Version paragraph, select version 2.3.26 from the drop-down list https://jumpshare.com/v/i49QwZEisH0wW8lh36hg and click on the Download button; upload the plugin manually in your WordPress dashboard.
- To downgrade the PRO plugin, log into your Brizy account, and download version 2.3.19 - https://jumpshare.com/v/5dCAqcFO8X7bnBBwPQ8f; upload the plugin manually in your WordPress dashboard.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards, Nelea.

Hi Nelea,
I don't use WordPress, I have whole my website on your cloud, Actually, I built it and published it all from your website ... Can you get me the guideline to downgrade to the previous plugin version from your web? or, Maybe, I need to wait for your in-house solution? Let me know how can I fix it by myself or please get me an estimated time to wait.
I stay tuned for your answer.

Hi,
i just updated our sites with the latest Brizy 2.3.28 and Brizy pro 2.3.21 update.
In the penultimate update, the problem wasn't just about the problem Global Color but also other problems.
Currently if I enter the Brizy editor the page will be seen correctly but if I click on preview this is how I see my preview.
If I go to the published page the page looks good but the text to which I applied "Entrance Animation" is not displayed.
Currently, to restore the site it was not enough to downgrade to previous versions as reported in this post.
But I had to do a restore of all files on January 1st 2022, before updating Wordpress to 5.8.3
So with wordpress 5.8.2 and Brizy 2.3.25 and Brizy pro 2.3.18 it is working.
We await the next update to see if these problems are permanently eliminated
Thank you
Maria

We actually had an issue but we solved it. Can you please try to clear all the browser and server cache and see what is happening?
With kind regards,

These are operations that I do regularly when I notice a problem.
However the problems listed in my comment remain.
I await the next update and then I will try again.
