WordPress licenses expired
Hi, I have Brizy Studio since December 2019, I renewed my license this 2020 and my WordPress licenses appear to have expired and I have several sites that cannot update the Brizy Pro plugin.
I did not renew my Brizy account the same day it expired, because my saved credit card was not recognized, which was the same one I bought in 2019.
I need these licenses to appear OK for the plugins to update.
Thank you.

Hi,
At the moment we are using external software for the Licensing system and it is working in such away. Therefore, you have to generate a new license and add it to the site. With other words to refresh it. We will improve it and will make it more flexible but this isn't a simple option and we need a bit more time for it.
Now, we updated manually your licenses for your sites and all should work fine. Could you please check this? Thanks!
Best regards,

Hello.
Now it appears to me dated 2021. Did they do anything? It automatically appeared to me with the date the account expires.Thank you.

Hi,
Yes, as I said before, in my previous message, for you we extended manually the existent license for the next year too but normally users have to generate new license and set them again for the site. We are working on this functional and we will update it.
Thanks!

Did you ever repair this problem? I also had to update a credit card which resulted in a delay of a day or two, and now fifteen different licenses for client websites have expired and all of them are now broken. This is seriously inconvenient. It will take me ages to update and test all these websites.

Hi Kerri,
We apologize for the trouble. I need further clarification on your request. Shouldn't the licenses attached to an existing software subscription also expire when the subscription expires? Should it be treated as a fresh subscription or something different if you subscribe after a day or two? How should a better system respond and how would you like to modify this business rule?
The 15 websites should all function properly even after the licenses expire. You won't be able to modify the Brizy Pro features when the license expires. It's possible that you won't wish to edit all 15 websites in a single day. Hence you might not need to generate all 15 licenses in one day. Whenever you wish to edit those websites, kindly generate a new license.

Certain features all all the sites stopped working when the licenses failed to renew, so yes I did need to relicense and test them all in one day when a client alerted me to the fact the drop down menu had stopped working on their website.
It would be much better to offer some kind of warning and grace period if you know you have an expired payment card on file. Instead I got a notice that I needed to update my payment method on the same day all of my clients' websites licenses expired and lost functionality of Pro features.
As I updated my payment method as soon as I saw the notification, I had no idea the Pro license keys I had already generated would not be valid once my payment was successfully processed. So I didn't even think to check to make sure the sites were all working.
So failing any kind of notice or grace period, it would be better to clearly advise your clients whose payment card haven't been successfully charged that they will need to reissue the Pro licenses for each of their sites as soon as possible to re-establish the Pro features that will cease to function, such as a drop down menu.
It wouldn't have saved me any time but it could have saved me the embarrassment of the menu issue being discovered by a client.
Anyway, thanks for your reply - it's fixed now and hopefully won't happen again until 2026. :)

Hi Kerri,
Paddle.com handles payments on our behalf and your payment method is saved with them. One week before the subscription renewal, they normally send an email notification like below. Users normally get a chance to update their payment method when they see this message.

Ideally nothing should get affected in the frontend when a Brizy Pro license expires. Can you please recollect from your memory what features of the site stopped functioning when the license expired? We will try to fix this issue.
