Template to be changed to bulk pages and posts
Hello,
We have migrated a fairly large site which has 2000+ posts and pages.
We have created a template as per the videos mentioned in brizy youtube channel.
There are two saved layout one for pages and one for post.
Need guidance :
1. To apply this layouts to thousand pages.
2. After applying the archive template with posts the posts are not dynamically fetched. The template set for the posts as Brizy template.
Please help.
Thank you.

Hi Tony,
Brizy templates will be applied only on the pages and posts made in the WordPress editor. If a page or a post was created and edited with Brizy, theme or another page builder, then the Brizy template will not be applied.
1 - If you created a template for pages and want to apply it for all pages, you have to add the right Display condition. In this case, the right display condition is:
1.1. Template type: Single;
1.2. Display condition: Include -> Pages -> All
See here. If you accept my suggestion, I don't recommend to create a template for all pages because from my experience each page from the site is individual and each page need its elements, structure, blocks and so on. Therefore, a template for all pages will not help you to achieve this. In Brizy the template is something like a sketch you create for page/post, category or posts and design it how do you want to look that page. In the Brizy template is recommended to use dynamic elements like Posts element, Post Content, Post title, Featured image and so on. Therefore, the template will get all the dynamic information it needs from the page/post where it is applied and will show you that information in the structure you set-up in the Brizy template.2. could you please check what display condition did you use for the template you created for Archive page? What elements did you use inside the template? Could you send us some screenshots?
Thanks!

Hello Sandra,
These pages/posts were migrated from Joomla CMS to WordPress and the text we have here in WordPress editor is plain text without any formatting, which we are okay with for now.
1. We have done it in the same way that you had mentioned. Check this screenshot:- https://prnt.sc/w06ezp
In the template ( We have a saved layout ) now we have GLOBAL ( Header, Footer and Sidebar ) which we need to be Global on all the pages.
We wish to have this template (saved layout) which we created to apply to 1000 pages that we have on the site.
For this, we have set the page attribute to Brizy template using the WordPress option of Bulk actions.
How do we set the template (saved layout) which we have created for pages at one time.
We can do one-by-one page and doing this for 1000 pages will be very much time-consuming.
Does brizy has any option like the bulk actions to apply the saved layout?
2. The display conditions are :- https://prnt.sc/w06kak
Note:- AAWS Template which you see in post attributes is white label of Brizy.
The element used here is Wordpress archive. This is the screenshot:- https://prnt.sc/w06kak
I have referred this video :- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWJEetL4f-s
Thank you.

You can ignore the part 2 as it is working now. Still when we click on Read More it needs to go to the single posts page layout which we have made in Brizy.
We could not see the Product and Product Archive option which was seen in your screenshot. Are we missing anything?

Hi Tony,
If you created a template for all pages as you showed here, then it is no need to create a global header and footer to apply it on all pages because this template will add all elements you have in on all pages, therefore, the header and footer the same. If you will open a random page from the site, you will see that it contain all elements you added in the template.
Could you please give us more details regarding this "How do we set the template (saved layout) which we have created for pages at one time"? Yes, you can Save the entire layout created on the page and use it on other pages but if you created a template for all pages it will be unuseful.
About this "We could not see the Product and Product Archive option which was seen in your screenshot. Are we missing anything?" - to see the Product and Product Archive options, you should have installed the WooCommerce plugin too. These options will help you to customize the WooCommerce pages and categories.
Let us know if we can help you with something else.

HI Sandra,
Please visit this URL http://thetorontobeaches.allaboutwebservices.com/bluffer-s-beach-park/ where you can see the article is ready, As mentioned before and you also confirm that the brizy template is applicable to all post and pages the layout is not applied on this page.
What we are asking for was, since we have page layout setup in brizy template section, it should get applied by default but some how it is not showing any header or footer.

Hi,
Could you please check in the Pages if this page isn't edited with Brizy? For this page, we found the Brizy code https://jumpshare.com/v/WjPsBS9ugrpRDJ7a65ki and therefore we suppose that it is already edited with Brizy. If the page is edited with Brizy than the template applied to pages will be applied to this page too. Therefore, you have to deactivate the Brizy builder for this page.
Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
I have followed your steps. If we removed / re set the template on page to default template, the front page is showing header and footer from default theme.
But the moment we shift the page to brizy template, it is showing the text in brizy but no other layouts header and footer. Please let me know where we can send you login details so that you can check it yourself what settings and how this can be fixed.
The best way to deal with this I believe is we are able to select which brizy template the page will show and then it should set all the settings in that template to that page.
Thanks
Brandon

Hi Tony,
I didn't say to set-up to the template or page the Default template.
Templates and pages are 2 different objects. Pages are static elements of the site and templates are dynamic elements of the site. As I said before, the template is something like a sketch where you design how you want to look a page, a post or all posts. In templates usually is used the dynamic elements. In the display conditions you indicate where do you want to display this template. The template will apply to the page/post and will display the elements from the template.
Also, it is a big difference between Brizy Template and Page template - Brizy template. About the Brizy template, I already told above. There is the Brizy Template.
The page template - Brizy template is about how to structure the page per total. Belong Brizy template, you may have "Default" template. It designs the page in general words. For example for pages you have set the Page template - Brizy template, you will have only Brizy settings and content. In the pages, you have the Page template - "Default" template, you will have the theme header and footer and a container where you will be able to add Brizy content. Therefore, if you created a template for all pages, the structure of the page you created in the template will be applied to all non-Brizy pages. The Brizy template can't be applied in the Brizy pages or pages created with another page builder. If you have a page edited with Brizy and don't see the Brizy template, you have to deactivate the Brizy builder for this page in such a way https://jmp.sh/ma1flFo.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Sandra0
