Hello! 

 

Just a quick confirmation: are webp images still not supported by brizy?

 

Tried different configurations with shortpixel but brizy keep serving classic .jpg

  Hi Lorenzo,

  At the moment, brizy builder doesn't support the webp images. We are working on this feature and we will have it in the near future. We don't have an ETA but we will strive to release it as soon as possible.

  Just checking in to see if there's any updates to this and does Brizy now support WebP Converter such as this?

  Hi Jae

  WordPress 5.8 onwards supports webp images. When you are using Brizy WP on WordPress 5.8 or above, you can upload webp files using Brizy. Here is my test page. https://homi.kctest.online/webp/ The webp image on this page was uploaded using Brizy.  

  Sorry; we have not have checked out the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/webp-converter-for-media/. Please check this out yourself.

  I have tested it with https://wordpress.org/plugins/webp-converter-for-media/ and it is working:)
