integration with Media Cloud
Hi,
I found plugin Media Cloud (https://wordpress.org/plugins/ilab-media-tools/) that uploads content of wp-uploads to S3 API compatibile services. My goal is to link media like static.my-site.com/picture.jpg rather than my-site.com/wp-content/wp-uploads/picture.jpg. I noticed Brizy also uses wp-uploads for some internal purposes and completly ignore "cloud storage links" when rendering posts or pages.
Is there any way (could be even in code) to change this behaviour?

Hi,
Unfortunately, at the moment isn't possible to use images from the Media Cloud or another source. All images that will be used in the Brizy pages should be taken from the WordPress Media Library.
Let us know if we can help you with something else.Best regards,

thanks for the information :)
is there any ticket to add support for different media sources? or can I create one?

Hi,
I already created a feature request on this subject in our internal list and inform our managers regarding this.
Thanks!Best regards,

Hello,
I'm the author of Media Cloud. It should be compatible with Brizy so long as Brizy is using standard WordPress functions to get image URLs from attachments in the Media Library.

Hi Jon,
Thank you for the message. Yes, Brizy is using the standard WordPress functions. If the images are stored in the WordPress Media library, they can be accessed and used in the Brizy pages because Brizy can take images only from the WP Media Library. After the image are taken from the WP Media Library the image are cropped in 6 examples (for retina and non-retina desktop, tablet and mobile) and stored in Brizy image folder. If the images are added in the WordPress Media Library from Media Cloud and then these images are used in the Brizy pages, here should not be a problem. Unfortunately, at the moment, isn't possible to upload images in Brizy pages directly from the Media Cloud.
For more details regarding how Brizy handle images, please read this article.Best regards,
Sandra0
