    Hi,

1 - Yes, at the moment isn't possible to create a template for posts from a certain category/custom taxonomy but you can create a template for a certain Category/Custom Taxonomy page.

2 - If you created and have a Custom Taxonomy, you can select it as a Category Filter in the Posts element. See here. If I didn't understand well the question and provide an unuseful response, please let me know and give me more details about what you want to create.

"I want to be able to have a table to display these collections - using the 'posts' element." - yes, it is possible to create this. For this you will need to add 3 Posts element and for each one to select the needed Category/Custom Taxonomy. If you have Custom Posts Type, I suggest creating a custom taxonomy.

"And I want to be able to have 3 templates for each single post." - could you please describe what did you mean with "Single post"? How do you want to create 3 templates for each single post?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Thanks for the rely Sandra - really appreciate it..and I'm sorry I didn't explain myself clearly.

By "Single Post" I mean Brizy>Templates>Edit>Template Type>Single post..

All I wish to do is have 3 * categories (Say Drinks, Meals, Deserts)

Then be able to use Posts Element to display these separately.

Then be able to use Templates feature - to set 3 individual designs for each of my 3 elements..so each "Drink" item has a template, each "Meals" post has its own template, and each "Deserts" post has its own template.

I don't think this is possible at the moment if I understand it correctly.

Do you know if Templates> Template Type >Single Posts is to be upgraded to be able to specify categories?

Can I also clarify - the Templates > Template Type >  Archive option is for styling the archive page - so this is for an index of posts...and cannot be used to achieve what I want?

    Hi,

Yes, at the moment isn't possible to create an individual template for posts from a certain category. You can create a template for all posts or you can select manually the exact post which do you want to set a special template but I suppose it is not a practical solution.
Also, I want to add that in Brizy, the template is something like a sketch where you design how do you want to display a certain post or page. For this reason, you have in the template the "Display conditions". This will indicate where to attach the Brizy template you create. Using Dynamic Content, Brizy will take all necessary data and over that page/post will add the Brizy template.
If you want to add inside a page 3 Posts element to display Say drinks, Meals and Deserts posts, it is possible and here you can customize as you want these Posts element. Here, you can design them differently and they will look different.

Archive templates are used mostly for Archive pages, therefore, you can create a template for an Archive page but you have to select the right display condition for you regarding with the purpose you have.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra
