    Hi,

No, at the moment, in the accordion element, one element should be open. Isn't possible to close all of them.
Let us know if we can help you with something else.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Okay thanks for the quick reply, that's a pity.

Luckily I found the following solution on the internet:

It really sucks to start a project and assume that Brizy elements can do things that every other page builder can do with one click, only to find out you have to add a ton of custom code to make the simplest things work.

    Please finish your elements.

    Hi Stephen,

We already improved the Accordion functionality and now you can close by default all accordion tabs. For this, please make sure that all tabs, especially the tab that is by default open in the editor mode, is set up with "off" for the "Collapsible" option. See here.

Also, please make sure you have the latest versions for Brizy Free 2.2.10 and Brizy pro 2.2.7.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

I'm currently testing the plugin to see if it's something I want to fully implement for my sites. Thank you for adding this feature! This added feature helps, however, when a second (or third, or fourth, etc.) accordion item is clicked on, the open accordion items don't close. It would be nice to have just the accordion item clicked on be open, and the rest closed. And, if the user wants to close all of them, that should be a function too. Thank you!

    Hi Adam,

Could you please send us the URL link of the page where you encounter this problem? Do you have the latest version from Brizy Free 2.2.13 and Brizy Pro 2.2.9?

Could you please try to activate the Collapsible option? It can be found in any tab from the Accordion element. See here.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Thanks for your response, Sandra!

I'm using Brizy 2.2.13. The accordion is at the bottom of the testing site's page here: https://demo.baneydesign.com/page-builders/brizy/

I tried activating the Collapsible option, and that changes all the items. My main goal is to make it so that the first item is closed upon page load.

    Hi Adam,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this problem on my site. See here. How did you create this page? Did you add some external code here? Could you please temporary deactivate all external plugins (except Brizy Free and Brizy Pro) and activate a WordPress default theme? Do you receive the same problem?

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Hi just wanted to check, is this issue slated to be resolved in an upcoming update, because the accordion is still the same, it only give you two options; either you leave one of it open by default at all times (with no way to close it), or close all but lose the collapsible functionality where opening one accordion closes the other.

I have made a video to exactly describe and demonstrate this issue:

    Hi Balram,

    Thank you for contacting us.

This is the current intended behavior, and we don’t have an update scheduled for it at the moment.

I recommend submitting your suggestion on our Ideas and Roadmap page at https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap. Our team regularly reviews feedback there to help prioritize future improvements. Sorry for the inconvenience.
