    Hi,

Yes, at the moment isn't possible to add the PDF file to display as an image but you can try to convert the PDF file onto PNG or JPG and add them in the Image element. After this, you can add below the button element and for this button add the PDF file, here.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Thanks Sandra! I'll give it a try.

Do you know when the functionality of adding a PDF to display as an image will be added to Brizy Cloud Pro? Also, do you know if this functionality already exists in Brizy Pro (WordPress)? I just purchased Brizy Pro Lifetime yesterday, and haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

    Best,
    Kim

    Hi,

No, at the moment isn't possible to add the PDF file in the image element in the Brizy Pro plugin for WordPress or Brizy Cloud. The best way to add display a PDF file is to convert it into the PNG or JPG format because the PDF file presents a document file. It can't be placed in the Image element because it can read image formats like PNG and JPG.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    nice solution!

I have an additional question.  I would like to collect some information before allowing the pdf download.  For example, have the user enter a first name and an email address.

can you suggest a nice solution to do this, that is not too intrusive to the viewer.  simple

    thanks

    Steve

    Hi Steve,

Yes, it is possible to do something similar to what you want to create. In Brizy you can add a redirect link to the form element and after a visitor will complete the form it will be redirected to another page from where she/he will be able to download the PDF file. To create this,  you have to add the Form element where you can add the Email and Text field for email and respectively for email. Set-up it with integration or service. After this, click on the submit button and go to the Link -> Redirect https://jmp.sh/3PKHCv6. Here add the link to the page containing the Dowland button for the PDF file. In this redirect page, you can add a button and inside the button attach the PDF file.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Sandra - this is very helpful.

Is there also a way to password protect the download?

as part of the response to the email, I would provide a password to the recipient.  They would then have that to enter upon the redirect to the download page where the pdf is.

    1. lock access to pdf download via a password

    2. respond to recipient including the password

    Hi Steve,

Unfortunately, at the moment isn't possible to have password-protected pages in Brizy Cloud. We are working on this feature and we will have it but at the moment it isn't possible.
Also, I want to add that the Brizy form has the scope to send the lead to your email but it doesn't response also for the reply you send to the visitor. This is the work of the form integration you use.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra

the password protection question related to Wordpress pro, not to Brizy Cloud. Sorry for any confusion. Please respond again.

    Hi,

I suppose you use the Brizy Cloud because the post is added on the Brizy Cloud section. In case, you use the Brizy for WordPress, then you can set the page with password protected and therefore when the visitor will submit the for sending the lead, he/she will be redirected to that new page where she/he will need to insert the password to open it.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Hi Brizy team - I have some questions regarding the pdf download and pop up form as stated above.

    1. I inserted the link to text in the post, and when I opened up in Brizy in WordPress, the pdf was not clickable and showing the corresponding download.

    2. I created a post listing template in Brizy in WordPress, but where can I add the pop-up form before redirecting the download pdf? I would only want some of the gated content being blocked by the pop-up form. How and where can I achieve it?

    Hello Richard!

    1. Can you add the link to your post page?

    2. Pop-up has a possibility to use the appearance conditions, did you tried it?

    Kind regards,

    Mihail
