Popup Trigger - time from last visit
Having used Brizy Pro to rebuild my website, I wanted to include a popup 'banner' at the top of my site (to give some context, I'm a wedding photographer) that says dates for 2021 are running out, with a button to link to the contact page.
I've set this to display on relevent pages only, and to load after 5 seconds on these pages with a close X icon. With the trigger pop up only once turned OFF, I wanted it to only display once per session, until the user closes it, then only show up on the website again if the user doesn't visit for at least 6 hours.
Looking through the other conditions, I added the Time From - last visit - is greater that - 6 hours
However, the popup triggers for every visit to the site, even within the 6 hours, and several times per session.
So my question(s) is, how can I only display it ONCE per session, and why is it still displaying for visits when less than 6 hours have passed? Do I need to incorporate a cooking somewhere that logs the time of visits?
Sadly, turning the trigger popup only once to ON stopped it showing multiple times in the same session, but obviously prevents it from showing on future sessions too.
Thanks,
Michaelangelo

Hi,
Could you please check if you activated the option from the browser that allow storing cookies? Also, could you please make sure that you don't have any other trigger for the pop-up?
Thanks!Best regards,

Hi Sandra, I've turned off the after page load trigger and adjusted my own cooking serttings (I was allowing them but was currently sending a 'do not track' request, which may have been affecting the visit time). I'll see what happens after the set period of time and get back to you if there is still an issue :)
Thanks for now,
Michaelangelo

HI Sandra,
It seems to be more stable now with just the one 'time from last visit' condition. Am I right in thinking that if you have multiple trigger conditions it only uses one of them and doesn't combine them? ie if A or B is true, then trigger, and not if A and B is true, then trigger?
Is there a way of setting it so that several conditions have to be met, rather than just one of them? It's not a huge problem if not...
Thanks,
Michaelangelo

Hi, Michaelangelo,
Seems that here we have a problem when is added 2 or more display condition to a pop-up. We will investigate this and will strive to found a solution to this issue. Thank you for reporting this!
