ISSUE: Global and copying do not work well together

    Hi,

    This isn't an issue, this is the right way of global blocks working. When you duplicate a global block then the duplicated one will have the same behaviour as when you add a block in the page from "Global blocks". This means that all modification you made on a global block, will be reflected on all global blocks (of the same block, of course) from all the site. If you don't want that the duplicated block have all modification you made on the primary global block, you have 2 options:
    1 - Deselect the "Make it global" option from the duplicated block;
    2 - Don't set the block as global, but add it in the Saved blocks. In this case, if you duplicate or reuse this block on another page, all modification you made on the primary saved block will be reflected only on that block.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Well. Doesn’t feel like good UX.
    I would imagine it working where, if a user duplicates a global set section within the same page, brizy would make it a separate section thus detaching it from the original global and to a new global.

    This makes more sense.

    The workaround was for me to make a saved copy off the global and then add it in via that saved section then making it global again.

    The duplicated block will be the same "global block" from the primary block, therefore as the rule of the global blocks, all the modifications made in a global block will be reflected on all blocks from every page. If you don't want to happen this when you duplicate the global block on the same page, you can deselect the global option from the duplicated one.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra
