Manually-defined sizing for columns/rows?

I built a template for archives/categories/tags in Brizy, but I'm having a problem.

The issue is being caused by variation in post title length and excerpt length. Currently, I have it set up so that every archive page has two columns with a featured image, post title, excerpt, separator, date, and author name. The separator is between the excerpt and the date/author below. But because the excerpt and post title vary in length, the separator occurs are different heights for each post featured on the archive page.

Is it possible to make a tweak so that I can make each archive item have uniform dimensions?

One way that I feel like this could work is to separate each archive item into two sub-rows. The top sub-row would be aligned along the top of the container and would contain (1) the featured image, (2) the title, and (3) the excerpt. Then the bottom sub-row would be aligned to the bottom of the container and would contain (4) the separator, (5) the date with icon, and (6) the author with icon. But after playing around with it, the align-top and align-bottom feature doesn't seem to do this in the way that I feel like it should.

Another thought I had was to do something similar as what I just described, but while also setting manual heights for different elements. For example, setting the height of the columns and the alignment of the elements contained in each column so that they align to either the top or bottom. But based on everything I'm seeing, there doesn't seem to be a way to set the height of a specific element or column beyond using the full-height or percentage settings.

So is there some other solution I can try to get my archive items to be more consistent?
