Dynamic Content: Limit Post?

👋 Hi,

I've created a very basic carousel with posts in. Linked it dynamically however, when I preview this, it loads ALL posts. Am I missing something? There should be a "limit" somewhere right?

  Hi,

  If you activated the Dynamic Content for the Carousel element, you have to select also the category of posts you want to display. When you select a category then you will see there, in the Carousel, all the posts from that category. I notice from your screenshot that you selected the "Uncategorized" category, therefore you will have all posts that have attached this category. At the moment, isn't possible to show only a part of the posts from a certain category.

  Can this be please added as a matter of urgency? Without this limit feature, a category with 1,000 posts will show for the carousel.

  You used to be able to limit, correct? This changed with a recent update. Now all my sites have MANY navigation bubbles under them. We use the Carousel to show posts for the "Latest News" and just want it to rotate through 4-5 posts not all News.

  Hi, Kate,

  No, I'm sorry but for Carousel and Posts elements weren't possible to select a certain number of posts to display. We added this suggestion in our Feature request list and our managers will investigate them. If the Carousel element isn't activated with Dynamic Content, in this case, yes, you can choose how many columns to have the Carousel.
