This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser.
Hi! Yesterday I was working on my new website and everything was just fine. I installed a Polylang plugin to create a multilingual site without the network of sites and it seemed partly compatible with Brizy Pro that I am using cause some weird things appeared in the menu but only if you log in as as admin - from the regular, user viw everything is perfect. Anyway, as I said everyhing was just fine but suddenly the "This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser." message started appearing. Constantly, on every sub page I was trying to edit. In general I am still able to make some adjustemnts and edit the pages, despite the pop up but it's really confusing and annoying.
The worst part is that the global blocks stopped responding. I have one that I can't remove and it's not possible to add new ones any more.
I wen through all the other threads about the same issue, I installed WP DB Cleaner as suggested in one of them (didn't help), I edited the wp-config.php file to add some php memory (didn't work).
Could you please have a look and tell me what's going on there?

Hi,
Regarding this problem "This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser." - Do you receive only in the subpages? Do you have open this page only in one window/tab? Do you not have open the Brizy editor of the same page or of a page where are some global blocks used in this page in another window/tab? If the answer is no, could you please check if you have the latest versions of Brizy Free 2.0.13 and Brizy Pro 2.0.6? What is the memory limit of the site?
regarding the problem of the global block, could you please give us more details regarding the problem you encounter there? Could you send us also some screenshots?
All these problems started after you installed the Polylang plugin? If you deactivate it all started to work fine?
Thanks!
Best regards,

- Regarding this problem "This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser." - Do you receive only in the subpages?
No, it appears on all the pages and subpages
- Do you have open this page only in one window/tab?
Yes and I tried opening it in another browser, in incognito tab, cleaning my cache - nothing
- Do you not have open the Brizy editor of the same page or of a page where are some global blocks used in this page in another window/tab?
No
- If the answer is no, could you please check if you have the latest versions of Brizy Free 2.0.13 and Brizy Pro 2.0.6? What is the memory limit of the site?
I have the newest versions of Brizy and Brizy Pro. The memory limit is
WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT 805306368 - regarding the problem of the global block, could you please give us more details regarding the problem you encounter there? Could you send us also some screenshots?
For example I created a global block with contact data. Now I want to deactivate it / delete it on one of the pages.
I tried deactiavting it and deleting it but I get
And the block is still there. When I use the display option - the same. It's still there, there is no way to save it.
If I want to edit anything else, that is not a global block it's still showing the message:
"This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser."
But I am able to save the page and it's updated.
- All these problems started after you installed the Polylang plugin? If you deactivate it all started to work fine?
It didn't start directly after installing the Polylang and when it's deactivated it's still not working.

Fixed. The bug was generated by a duplicated Global Block.

Can you tell me how you fixed it? I seem to have the same problem.
Many Thanks!

Hi,
This error doesn't appear for only cause, they can be different and we want to know how this error appears on your site. Could you provide us with more details regarding this problem? When it appears? Do you receive it on all pages or only on some pages? Do you have open this page only in one window/tab too? Do you not have open the Brizy editor of the same page or of a page where are some global blocks used in this page in another window/tab? If the answer is no, could you please check if you have the latest versions of Brizy Free 2.0.13 and Brizy Pro 2.0.6? What is the memory limit of the site?
Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
thanks for you reactions. Let's continue on this post and close the other topic.
1) The problem appears on every page while saving the file
2) I am the only one working in the site, only one page at a time in one tab
3) Brizy free and pro are both at the current version and were working before
4) Memory limit is 512MB
A deeper sketch of the problem:
1) Every time I want to save a page, the popup appears.
2) Textual content does save
3) Global blocks don't save
4) If I try to create a new global block, it doesn't save and in fact the created block disappears.
5) In fact sometimes a block that I though I deleted reappears.
6) I tried deleting all global blocks, but one of them keeps returning
Thank you,
Stijn

Also , here is a screenshot of the database error log.
Upon trying to save the page, in safari inspector I get the error: "unable to access admin-ajax.php "

Same problem here. I have the problem on all pages, brizy is updated to latest versions. I increased the memory to 512M in the dashboard on the webhost. I run a cleaning plugin on wordpress.
"Refresh page-error" keeps coming up on all pages. Global block cant be saved or changed. in other words, im stuck with a website not working and without a global menu.. =(((
Please help. - Thanks.

Hi Anders,
I notice that you write that Brizy is updated to the latest versions but could you please check and confirm if you have activated the Brizy Free 2.0.14 version and Brizy Pro 2.0.7 version? Our developers solved the problem you mentioned in the last updates and we want to be sure of this.
Also, could you please try to deactivate temporarily all external plugins and activate a WP default theme? Did you receive the same problem?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hello,
I have the same problem. I installed a Polylang plugin to build a multilingual site, then I created a "global block" for a menu in French. However, I found that this menu also appeared on all the pages in English and in Chinese. So I tried to de-select "make it global" of this global block of menu but it didn't work - Actually I can't save ANY changes on it, move it to another place on the same page, or delete it. This global block is now on top of each page and when I try to update a page, there's always a box appearing: "This page needs a refresh. You’ve probably updated this page (or another page) in a different tab or browser."
I've tried to fix it many times tonight but there's no solution yet... This is very annoying. Now I have two menus on almost all the pages: this global block (which I want to delete) followed by a separate menu for each language (which I want to keep). This can impact the image of my company as this website now looks strange (the website has been existing for a while; I just wanted to try the "global block" function earlier today). Could you please help me fix it ASAP?
Attached is the scanned screen.
Many thanks in advance, Kind Regards,
Chunyan

Hi there,
I'm encountering something similar to this as follows:
- The problem appears on every page while saving it.
- I am the only one working in the site, only one page at a time in one tab
- Brizy free / pro plugins are both at the current version.
- Memory limit is 512MB
The problem in depth:
- Every time I want to save a page, the popup appears.
- The Textual content changes sometime change, sometime not. If it's a text change say then they tend to save. If it's images or anything more advanced then not.
- If I make one change then save it, it tends to save. If I make 2n changes then they tend not to save.
- The pages all have Global blocks, these being header and footer
- If I make changes to a Gloabl block this tends to trigger the popup more often. For example on the site I'm working on it took over two hours to add 3 images to a global footer. Having to resort to making one change at a time i.e. add image > save, adjust image size > save, adjust column with > save, duplicate column > save, and on and on.

Hello
I am totally new to Brizy, I am building my very first site with it. I have a Brizy Pro license.
Was creating the very first page, take a Layout, and as soon as I click "Save to Draft" or "Publish" I get the error "This page needs a refresh. You've probably updated this page ( or another page) in a different tab or browser. " that appears, and when I update, everything disappears.
My memory limit is 1G, the database only occupies 3MB, I tried with the Bloksy and Twenty Twenty-One themes, and I still have the same problem.
And by finding this topic and reading the discussion, I see it's a recurring problem. But how to fix it?
Thank you in advance
