Brizy Update Failed and Now Plugin No Longer Installed (Brizy Pro is still installed)

Hello,

We've had our site in maintenance mode (Coming Soon page activated) with Brizy/Brizy Pro. When I went to update earlier today the update failed and apparently Brizy uninstalled. Brizy Pro is still installed but we're no longer in maintenance mode and obviously our site is now broken. When I go to reinstall the Brizy plugin, Wordpress is not allowing the install. I don't know if this is enough information, but please help!

  Hi,

  Could you please go to the Plugins and deactivate and then delete the Brizy Pro plugin too? After this, please try to upload manually the Brizy Free and Pro.
  1 - Go to your Brizy account;
  2 - Download the latest Brizy Free (2.0.10) and Pro version (2.0.4) - don't unzip the folders;
  3 - Go back to WP dashboard in Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin;
  4 - Upload the zip folder of the Brizy Free you downloaded from Brizy account;
  5 - Activate the plugin;
  6 - Upload the zip folder of the Brizy Free you downloaded from Brizy account;
  7 - Activate the plugin;
  8 - Activate the license.

  If this will not help you, could you try through FTP to delete the Brizy Free and Pro folder and add the new versions of the plugin?

  Thank you so much for your help Sandra. I see there is also a recent update to Brizy 2.0.12 which unfortunately failed once again on my end. I'll have to try and upload manually as per your instructions. There was also an issue with forms not connecting to lead source (Mailchimp in my case) so hoping the update fixes that issue as well.

  Hi,

  Yes, in the last updates we fixed the problem with the forms. Could you please send us the screenshot with the problem you encounter when trying to update the Brizy plugins?

  Hi there, I had the same thing happened I think was my internet connection!, now I don’t see the free Brizy Plugin, if I deleted the folder via FTP, is my site going to be lost? or those settings are in a different place?

  Hi,

  In this article, you can find guidance on how to update the plugin using the FTP. If you will follow all these instructions all will be fine and you will be able to update the Brizy plugins.
