Contact form - SMTP Not Working
Hi, I originally tried the WordPress opening for the Contact Form, however I'd like to use the SMTP option instead by using DirectSend through our O365 subscription. I have made sure all the information is entered correctly, and under Authentication i have it disabled, though it still asks for username and password, so I entered anonymous.
Anyhow, I tested the contact however it shows "Email Sent" but I never received the email. Any suggestions?

Hi,
You have to wait a bit (2-5 minutes) that the message arrive in the email to set. The messages you will receive on the email will some from WordPress. Could you please check this? If you didn't receive any emails from WP, could you please make some basic checks?
- Do you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.0.10 and PRO 2.0.5?
- If you change the theme do you have the same problem?
- Do you have the same problem if you disable all external plugins?

I am now using Microsoft O365 Direct Send settings through the smtp settings but it is still not working. I did multiple tests and waited more than hours but no email. It says successfully sent but nothing. Is there a way i can test connection? Also, i have authentication disabled but it still asks for username and password? I really need this working ASAP. thank you.

We already fixed the problem with the form in the lasted updates. Could you please check if you have the 2.0.12 version for Brizy Free and the 2.0.6 version for Brizy Pro?

Brizy Pro, I have the 2.0.5 version? That was the only version i was able to download from the account page.

We recently released a new update for Brizy Pro. Could you please check again your Brizy account? But the problem with the form was fixed in the Brizy Free 2.0.12, do you still have this problem? Could you please try again?

Hello, I confirmed we have the latest plugin updates for Brizy,but I am still not receiving the emails. I have checked mail flow and I dont see any emails at all coming in. Ive confirmed the SMTP settings are correct as I have tested it on another plugin outside of Brizy. Please advise. see screenshot of the Brizy plugin version.s

Also, though I have disabled "Authentication" in the SMTP plugin, it is still asking for a username/password. The SMTP settings I am attempting to use if DirectSend through our O365 account, and it requires TLS, howver there is no authentication. Please see screenshot.

hi, finally fixed it.. I had to restart the wordpress Brizy plugin. My next issue is I am unable to uncheck "Wordpress" see screenshot. I only want SMTP, but it wont let me uncheck wordpress.

Hi,
If you set the form with the SMTP, then the username and password are mandatory to complete. In this way, you connect the form with your email. See here https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360043766792-Email-notification-via-SMTP.
If you already fixed this problem and you want to disable the connection with WordPress, you can to duplicate the form and then connect the duplicated form only with SMTP. The first form you can delete, after this.
