Broken Images - broken link icon - adding images does not work
Hi,
So I have read all similar posts and sadly none have a solution for the problem.
- Do you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.0.7?
Yes
- If you change the theme with a WP default theme do you have the same problem?
Yes
- Do you have the same problem if you disable all external plugins?
Yes
-Could you please try to add the image in the non-Brizy page?
Do you mean the default theme? That won't either work.
-How did you upload images? If you go to the WP media library, do you see images?
I have searched via the WP Media Library and uploaded pictures in various qualities. None work. Only the pictures that came with the theme are being displayed.
-Can you edit images (for example, rotate the image)? (it isn't necessary to save these modifications, only to check)
How do you do that. I don't see this action.
the images were added trough the wp media library, I tried that multiple times. I can edit and save the images in the wp library. Everything works except adding images with brizy (not even premade blocks work, the images from premade blocks appear in the wp library but they don't display on the brizy editor page and they display a broken image icon).

Hi,
Thank you for all these details! It is a great time-saving. :)
Anyway, I have some questions because I found some details that I think we have to discuss. For example here:
-Could you please try to add the image in the non-Brizy page?
Do you mean the default theme? That won't either work.If the image you upload isn't working in the non-Brizy page too then here can be a problem with the image or hosting.
Did you receive this problem only in editor mode? Could you please send us a screenshot from the editor? In the preview, I found that the images are displaying https://jmp.sh/QYI7rXt.
Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
I made a video of the problem:
Link to be private: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lRuTPu51e2Gw3AUkiQxhfvurC0OO0rSE/view
as you can see, none of the pictures work, except the one that came with the theme.
Not even pictures that came with other themes work here.

Hi,
Unfortunately, but on Wilton's site and Ben's site, the cause of this problem is different. Could you please give us more details regarding the problem you encounter? When did you encounter it? Is is happening on all pages? Are images display on the non-Brizy pages? Are images not display in the preview mode or in the editor mode too? Do you have the latest updates for Brizy Free (2.0.10) and Brizy Pro (2.0.5)? If you deactivate all external plugins and activate a WP default theme, is the problem still present on the site?
Thanks!

I'm experiencing the samething now on a site hosted with Namecheap, can you type out the solutions here so incase anyone encounters it, they'll be no need to contact you directly.

Is the broken link problem having to do with hosting through Namecheap?

Hi Shelby,
Did you receive a problem? Could you please give us more details regarding it?
In this post, users reported a problem with images. They aren't displayed on their sites. Did you receive the same problem? Is Namecheap your hosting provider? At the moment we have an issue with the image son the sites hosted on the NameCheap. Our developers provide NameCheap's team with the solution and also collaborated with them to solve this problem. They promise us to release the fix as soon as possible. If you have the same problem, could you please send us the URL link of your site? Thanks!
Best regards,
Sandra0
