Global popups break after reloading brizy

Each time I try to make a popup global, something goes wrong after reloading the brizy editor.

• When I make the global popup it looks like it saves.
• I can even make a new button and select the global popup from the menu in brizy.
• However, when I reload the page later to make some new edits, it shows an error message on the place where the buttons used to be to open the global popup ("An error happened while trying to display this element"): https://i.imgur.com/vJuNE8v.png

It does work if I save the popup in the regular way (without making it global). It only breaks when I try to make it global.

Brizy free version 2.0.7
Brizy PRO version 2.0.4
It tried disabling all other plugins and to it again: still the same error.
