Brizy cloud change server
Hi,
How can I change my website from the "free custom domain" to the "free subdomain"? I made a mistake here.
When I select the Publish button and I choose the subdomain option, nothing changed.
Thankx!

Hi,
The Subdomain method means that you receive a Brizy Subdomain like this "strawberry.brizy.site " and instead of strawberry, you can add the name you want. It is our by default publishing method. If you publish the site but don't select a method, we publish it using Subdomain method.
Let me know if I can help you with something else.Best regards,

Hi Sandra,
Txs for reply.
That's just the problem. We want to make use of the Brizy subdomain, but we choosed earlier for the custom domain. Now, I can't get rid of that anymore. If possible Sandra, I need this site online tonight. txs, txs!
I guess you have to remove the destination manually for me ...
(or, you may keep the Brizy subdomain if no other way possible, but how do i link it with my 'empty' domain name? No basic hosting is provided at that site)
txs, Ben

Hi,
Unfortunately, we can remove one connection manually. If you want to change the publish method, first, you have to interrupt the connection and delete the records from the Custom domain. After this, you have to go back to the Brizy Cloud dashboard and publish the project with the Subdomain method.
Thanks!

Hi Sandra,
Let's talk about the custom domain. I think it's that more simple. Forget about the subdomain.
I have the domainname 'benvandessel.be'. What do I have to do in order it will link probably. Do I need hosting on that site?

Hi,
If you use the Brizy Custom Domain method, you have the Brizy hosting for that site from Brizy. The domain you have to get it from another company (Goddady, NameCheap, etc.). After you have the domain, you have to connect it with Brizy. This means that you register a Cname record and A record. Here you can find the full information regarding how to publish the site using Custom Domain. If you already have set the Custom domain and you want to change to the Brizy Subdomain method, you have to delete the records. The simplest way to do this is to delete the domain from here.

Hi Sandra,
Thank you for replying. I managed to delete the 'domain' connection. Brizy jumps automatically to subdomain, so I'm at least on line with this site.
But I have a domain-name, which I think is faster. I tried with the following dns settings, but it gave me errors. I used the DNS-settings Brizy was providing me. Could you give me the correct settings please? Txs!

Hi,
If you want to use the Custom Domain, you have to set up the Cname record and A record. In this article, you can find the full guide for this.
