PS: this is the page-url: https://tenetfinancialservices.com/blog/brizy-template/fp2/?brizy-edit - and it won't pull up.

https://tenetfinancialservices.com/blog/brizy-template/fp2/ does pull up but is totally unusable (not formatted right)

    thanks!

    Hi,

Could you please give us more details? Did you created a template "fp2" and set it for all pages? I suppose this because in the URLs you send us I encounter "brizy-template"? What display conditions did you add? Could you send a screenshot? What elements did you add in the template?
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Dear Sandra,

THANK YOU for your thoughtful reply - which showed me that as a newbie to brizy (which is a GREAT builder!!!) I have not mastered "templates" and how to set it for all pages

Further you point to *elements* added to the template - which prompts me to take some time and perhaps looking into a tutorial to get more clear on these basic but essential aspects of this terrific builder.

I may not even be able to bring the template back, as I wasn't able to see it when trying to import it on a new page. Perhaps I went wrong in the assumption that when I open a "new page", and publish it with content built by brizy, the page would show up in the WP dashboard/all pages...............and if it does not, something in the WP DB happened for that page not to be indexed.

It is not the end of the world, Sandra, forcing me to learn the basics of this great tool - PLUS, it showes me how TERRIFIC the support community is - especially the "Community Team" - as your response demonstrates skillfully your willingness to assist new users - even beginners like me - with rookie errors that only happen to a newbie who hasn't read the tutorials :-)..............

Keep it up and THANK YOU again!

    Peter

    Hi,

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. Thank you! You make my day better!

If you created a template for all pages, then all pages shouldn't be edited with Brizy and all content you want to display should be created in the WP default editor. If you will create a template for all pages and at the same time the pages will be edited with Brizy, then the template will not be displayed.
The template in Brizy is something like a sketch where you arrange the page or post as you want to see it in the live view. All elements in the template are provided in a dynamic way.
Important! You have o disable the Brizy builder o the pages you add the template because it will not be visible on the page/post you assign it.
Therefore if you created a template (for example) with header and footer and assign it to a page/post created with Brizy you will see the page/post, not also the header and footer you added in the template.
This happens because the template is something like a layer that covers the initial page/post, extracts the necessary information (tags, category, featured image, content, post ID, post author name and so on) and show them in the places you indicate.
If you want to display some blocks, like header and footer, in all pages, I can suggest to make them "Global" and set a condition to display on all pages. See here https://jmp.sh/oPUfm2V.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Dear Sandra,

It is *lovely* to receive such detailed attention - and something I will remember when having an opportunity to write a review about Brizy (wink-wink)!!!! - Really, THANK YOU for demonstrating how much due diligence you are willing to put behind your GREAT product, and to help even beginners like me who haven't taken the time to watch the tutorial videos.

So I want take more of your precious time, and leave it at telling you how helpful your responses have been! I have been using Elementor for some time - but now, more and more I enjoy the ease and elegance of Brizy, and look forward to using it exclusively for all my pages.

    Best regards,

    Peter
