Self hosting v Brizy Secure hosting
I am sure this is dealt with in the documentation - but it is not intuitive and I have been frustrated by this quite a few times... so...
Would it be possible to disable the download to html link if the site has been given a sub-domain.
In other words: At the moment it is possible to download the html and upload the files into a folder which is already hosted (for example) in a siteground hosted domain - and then find an error message saying the site has not been created yet. When in fact the error is that the site has been given a brizy sub-domain.
There are obviously various combinations in which this kind of error might arise. Could you build into brizy an early warning when an error like this is going to be made - or better still disable functions when they would create this error - and have a popup warning like: "You cannot use the html download version because you have created a sub-domain for this site".
I want to stress two things;
ONE: I think Brizy is fantastic. For certain types of sites I intend to use it and move right away from WordPress, BUT
TWO: I have found the whole issue of Brizy Cloud publishing quite confusing and frustrating - it so nearly is brilliant.
FINAL THOUGHT: One simple solution would be to change the 'error' message. Instead of:
"This page is not yet created. Please start designing your page by clicking the button below"
It would be more helpful to say something like:
"Something has gone wrong here. Please check that you have not given your site a sub-domain if you are wanting to deploy the pure html version"
Or something along these lines...
Thank you for your patience (assuming you have got this far!).

Hi,
Thank you for all your thoughts and comments.
Yes, at the moment isn't possible to disable the option to Export HTML the Brizy Cloud project. The error you received that saying the site has not been created yet want to inform you that the project is saved in Drafts and it can't be displayed publicly. For this, you have to go to the project on the homepage and click on "Publish page" https://jmp.sh/NYodXdX. After this click on Update and Preview. After this, you can Export HTML and add it in the folder you want from the server and all should work fine.
Let me know if I can help you with something else.Best regards,
Sandra-1
