The image compression bug has not been address for the past 6 months and all the new users should be informed.
Please write it on your homepage in big bold letters that we are currently bad at image optimization so that people can stop then and there. Read all the conversation in related threads and sorry to say, if it was on a list of priority, the "Big Update" should have included this. You guys are giving away a lot of free, but I would have rather paid to use something which doesn't destroy my images. It's kind of funny though how this has been a bigger bug than any feature and it's still not addressed.
Would still ask something to be done about it, might just scrap all the work I have done here and rebuild everything with a new builder.

Hi,
Could you please give us more details regarding the problem with images you encounter? Could you send us the URL link of the page where we can investigate this inconvenience? Yes, we are working to improve the way we manage with images but on Brizy Cloud all should work fine. On WP environment are a lot of settings, options, plugins, themes that can affect the Brizy plugin but on Cloud such problems are particular.
Thanks!
Best regards,

Almost all of my images on brizy cloud appear highly blurry on a 1920x1080 display. Even the ones which occupy 60% of the screen width on my website i.e bigger images as well appear in low quality.
Few things:
1) Compression is applied by brizy cloud but I don't think its the cause of this. All images appear fine on my Macbook Pro 13 inch and on mobile.
2) Have tried to display the images on other devices as well. The problem existed for all 15.6 inch displays and those operating on a 1920 resolution.
3) Have tried uploading PNG, JPG, SVG. The problem existed with PNG and JPG both. SVG's worked well obviously being in vector.
4) Downloaded the HTML code. The asset folder had each image in multiple resolutions, so a lot of images!
5) Which might also mean that your devs messed up somewhere in the code and a image with a lower resolution is being rendered for high end display.
6) This is not an issue with 'my' monitor or from my side. Have tried the same with multiple screens and the problem existed for all running on a 1920 resolution.
Will be happy if this issue can be resolved, 90% of my relevance of creating a website is dependent on those images so this is the most frustrating issue I am facing.
Thanks. Please have a look at the screenshot attached below.

Hi,
Thank you for all these details. We will check and investigate this. Please let us a little bit more time for this!
Let us know if we can help you with something else. Thanks!

Can you please help me by specifying the time required - few days, few months? An estimate can help. I need to get done with the project itself by the end of next week so that's all the time I have myself. Will be great if this can be resorted before that.

I would like to say when we will have an answer to this inconvenience but I can't say an ETA for this. We need a bit more time to investigate this. We will strive to find the answer as soon as possible.

What's going on with this. I was un informed of this before starting a big project. This should be a top priority. The images look like crap, is an understatement.

Hi, Chad,
We are working on image improvements and we make some steps in this way. Could you please send us the URL of the site you receive this problem? Sometimes, we encounter that the user adds a small image in a big container and for this reason, it is stretched to fit in the container and therefore the image may look not good. In this case, we kindly recommend checking the image size and container size and not add a small image in a big container.
Thanks!

Sandra,
Yea, it's not the image size unfortunately. I've tried all sorts of combinations but especially on desktop the images are blurry. These are just normal images such as featured blog images, or standard images within a column. It does this everywhere.
I've tried:
- Increasing the image size with same dimensions that's being delivered to desktop, hoping the larger compressed image would hold more quality.(see screenshot increasing 480x360 to double at 620x466)
- Instead of having the image at 100%, I've used the exact dimensions on sizing the image settings within Brizy, which that are being used on desktop (see screenshot 480x360)
- Upload a high res image with no optimization from my end in photoshop (i always optimize my images before save for the web via TinyPNG)
- Tried Using your short pixel compression and not my own optimization
and probably a few other techniques that I'm missing here but all results always lead to a unacceptable image quality.
I've read a lot of postings on the forum about this. I absolutely love Brizy and just recently decided to switch over to it from my previous builder I've used for years. I've purchased a Lifetime Plan, so finding out about this image quality issue is a big deal to especially to clients sites that depend on image quality.
I agree with several others here that I'm not sure why Brizy doesn't have a Compression Off toggle to give the designer option to run their own optimization. That would simply solve your issue. It looks like this issue has been going on for over half a year. I'm puzzled why this isn't been addressed when images are such a vital role to a site design.

Hi, Chad,
Thank you for all these details and the screenshots. Unfortunately, these screenshots don't help us because we couldn't see the sizes of the original image that was uploaded in the builder. Therefore, will be useful if you will be able to send us the URL link of the page you encounter this problem to be able to investigate there the images.
We don't recommend uploading optimized images in the WordPress Media Library because Brizy will take them from there and create different sizes and these images will need to be optimized again.
Also, we recommend using only the ShortPixel plugin because we have integration with it and also because it can optimize images inside the Brizy image folder. Other image optimization plugin can't do this and therefore we don't recommend using any other image optimization plugin.
Brizy uses a unique technique to manage with images, therefore to understand how Brizy handle images, I recommend reading this article https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360031704031-How-does-Brizy-handle-images-.

Sandra,
Everything you mentioned, I listed above in my message that was tried, just so you are aware. I'll be more than happy to share the url if you can make private ticket. The site is still under development, so I can provide the url publically.
The tutorial link you provided, I've already gone through all that when trying to solve this issue. Sounds like from everyone else's posting, this is an issue within Brizy.

You can send us the URL link here and if you don't want to make it public, we will delete it before approving. Before approving the post/reply isn't public.

Sandra,
I thought I had sent this over but apparently, not. Your team already has access to the site via another private ticket.
The image quality is really bad on desktop. This goes for all images on desktop. I've tried so many things, even uploading high resolution images, playing with sizing..etc.. but nothing works.
On mobile devices the images look nice and crisp as they should.
Here's the URL, please don't make this public the site still has yet to be launched to the public and it's a big corporate client.
URL deleted by Brizy Support Team
I'll be on the lookout, since this is HUGE issue right with the client.

Hi Chad,
I tried to open the URL you send us also, I tried to log-in your wp-admin using the WP credentials you send our team but seems that your site is currently unavailable. See here. Could you please check this?
Thanks!

Hi Sandra, Do you know if your team has tried a CSS fix for this problem? Thanks, Sven

Hi Sven,
I can't confirm this information. There are very few cases when we add a CSS to solve a user's problem and all these few cases this is only a temporary solution when we know that in the next update will be a stable fix for the user's problem.
Best regards,
Sandra0
