Brizy problem on live website
Hello,
My website is loading very slowly and/or failing to load altogether. I keep getting gateway timeout error 504 on my server?
I am on rock solid Flywheel hosting. They suggest something is awry with the Brizy plugin.
I am on the latest version of wordpress, latest version of brizy and birzy pro.
Thanks
Here is their response after restarting the server for a second time today...

Hey Colin,
Happy to help!
It looks like these errors might be stemming from something around the Brizy plugin. We're seeing a large amount of requests for Brizy images in the logs, many of which are uncached.
Do you know if Brizy is dynamically serving images upon each page load? Around 60% of all site requests are to Brizy images from the server itself. This isn't typical behavior we normally see when pages load, and we believe these might be contributing to the downtime experienced.
Let us know!
Cheers!
Kristin

Hi,
Thank you for writing to us! On storing images we are working and we will improve this aspect in the next updates. At the moment, I see that the GTMetrix display good results https://jmp.sh/aOaxedD and the low score it receives for Images. At the moment, I can recommend optimizing images. For example, I can suggest using the ShortPixel plugin to optimize also the Brizy images.
Best regards,

Thanks Sandra,
I use Swift Performance Pro but haven't set it to optimize the Brizy images (yet).
Look forward to the updates.

Yes, Swift Performance Pro plugin is good but it will not optimize Brizy images. It is optimizing images from WP media library. We have an integration with ShortPixel and it can optimize Brizy images too. Here you can find extra information regarding this.
Best regards,
Sandra0
