    Hi,

I'm sorry but we can't reproduce the problem you encounter. Could you please go to the pop-up where you have to add the video and check if you have set up the "Controls" option? https://jmp.sh/LMI8veH If this option isn't set up, the video is automatically set with muted option.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Great, thanks Sandra, that did the trick. However, is it correctly understood that it can't be on autoplay and have sound on at the same time?

    Best regards,

    Mikkel

Yes, you are right, if the video is set up with "Autoplay", it is set automatically with muted option too. It is the same, a restriction form the browsers.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

When I insert a video from Youtube into the site, the code is inserted "https://www.youtube.com/embed/XXXXXXXXXXX?autoplay=1&controls=0&start=0&end=0&modestbranding=1&wmode=transparent&enablejsapi=1&loop=0&rel=0&mute=1".

Is it possible to remove this part from the code"mute=1" or change it to "mute=0"?

    Hi,

can you please give us more details? Do you add video via Embed element, via Video element or is that video added as a background video to a section?

    Hi Alex,

I put the video in a popup so that users can watch the video by clicking on the button.
Also, the popup is overlapped by the site's header (Blocksy theme).

    Thank you.

please help me reproduce this. So you have a popup video that appears without sound? like this: https://jumpshare.com/v/zJSwEj5KFfPRVHMn5j5y ? Do you have different behavior?

btw: can you please confirm that we are talking about the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.3.26. and PRO 2.3.19?

I want autoplay video without mute to happen immediately after pressing a button.
And it's also important that the popup layer is above the site's header layer.

And yes, I have the latest versions of the plugins installed.

    Hi,

autoplay without mute is not possible. It is a browser restriction. Please refer to this article: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/autoplay/

Regarding the header issue: please provide the link to the page where you have this popup and we will look into it. The link sent above cannot be accessed: https://jumpshare.com/v/sg5Qk60Z1NDaPEs6dSgM

    Hi,

    Thank you for the information.
Please look at this screencast, where you can see the problem with the overlay of the site's header, which makes the close popup button inaccessible.

thanks but I need a link where I can inspect the code.

btw: did you try to increase the z-index of the video element: https://jumpshare.com/v/XczMwZuatKefQoMcJ60X ?

I increased the z-index to 100, but it had no effect.

Here's how you can play a video with sound at the press of a button:

    Hi,

I don't understand how the header was made. Did you add any custom CSS code? Or do you have PRO version of the Blocksy theme?  The default theme has different header CSS properties. Here I see a z-index: 50; and do not understand where it comes from.

Regarding https://qubely.io/block/video-popup/ : behaves the same as in Brizy. You have to double click. One to open popup and another to start video: https://jumpshare.com/v/IsMx6414i6L1i5FfZNjF

    Hi,

Yes, in Chrome the video does not start after clicking on the button. But look at what happens in Firefox: https://jumpshare.com/v/QsJ6KjwDsim18my5kNUq.

Regarding the problem with layers: I solved the issue with the support of the theme developer - the problem was due to a conflict with the effect of the appearance of the footer..

I see. Works in Firefox. By default autoplay in Brizy only works without sound and there is no option to change that. I will add a notice about this on our internal desk and devs will look at how this can be implemented in the future.

    Please see this page: https://demo.creativethemes.com/blocksy/floreo/
It has a button that starts the video with sound when you click it (also works in Chrome).
