mobile menue not working since update to wp 5.5

Hi there,

I just updated my WP to 5.5 and everything looks fine. But my mobile menue doesn't work any more, it just doesn't react. Could you help me out, please?

My theme ist "The Practice"

  Hi Stefanie,

  Is your menu a theme item or a Brizy menu? As you may know, Themefuse themes are no longer supported since March 1st so I'm afraid I can't help you much if you have issues with the theme.

  Hi Alex,

  I don’t use Brizy. I’m unsing the unison plugin that comes with my theme. Until now this worked without any error.

   

  Themefuse had said "We've moved all our themes into our Brizy website builder plugin for WordPress." Do I have to install Brizy in oder to further use my theme? And does it work together with unison? Or do I have to rebuild my website?

  Hi Stefanie,

  I'm afraid you need to rebuild the website if you want to have a functional site. Themefuse themes will no longer have updates so they may not be compatible with the latest versions of WordPress. You can downgrade WordPress to a previous version and the site will work but anyway you will be forced to update WordPress and other elements someday.

  btw: two days ago an update was made for Unyson which had to fix some serious problems that appeared after the last WordPress update. You could try updating Unyson. Maybe the menu will work after that :)

  Hi Alex,

  thank you for the information. 

  I already updated Unyson this morning, but unfortunately that changed nothing. But if I deactivate Unyson, the menue works. So I think the problem lies with that.

  But nevertheless, what does "We've moved all our themes into our Brizy website builder plugin" mean if I can't use the (design of my) theme any longer?

  I really don't want to change the look of my website and am still hoping, there's some way to use this design.

  Hi,

  you create The Practice design with Brizy but you'll need to build it manually. Some designs from Themefuse have been re-created with Brizy and now you can import them as Brizy layout, but The Practice layout, unfortunately, is not on this list: https://www.brizy.io/layouts/
