How to properly configure SSL via server sync
Tried to follow previous post on this portal, no luck
Still showing this

Would appreciate if a proper process can be demonstrated

Hi,
This means that after the sync something has been changed on the server - it was added SSL certificate, or it was added a redirection option from non-www to www or any other actions with this folder.
The server sync "Golden Rule" is: Server Sync option is the last step in publishing a Brizy Cloud project. The entire server environment needs to be prepared before uploading the Brizy folder.
Now, once the SSL or redirect changes have already been made, you need to delete the project folder from server and re-upload it again.

This is obviously good to know... but it is not made clear in the instructions on how to implement Server Sync. I think it would be REALLY helpful to make those instructions much clearer. A real idiots' guide. I have found publishing Brizy Cloud projects quite difficult and frustrating - and I am sure I am not alone. It is such a GREAT builder / app that it is a real shame if it fails to deliver at the very last hurdle.

Is it really necessary to unzip the folder and then upload - or is it possible to upload the zip via ftp and then unzip with the siteground file manager? Thank you. The latter is quicker... and time is money!

I've just uploaded a zip file and it seemed to work fine.

Hi, Charles,
Thank you for writing to us. I will send your message regarding the article about publishing the project via Server Sync.
We recommend to unzip the folder and then upload it but if on your side all worked fine, it is great!
Let us know if we can help you with something else.Best regards,

My domain is currently hosted by Siteground. I have set it up as an 'empty site' and set up SSL Lets Encrypt Wildcard and Cloudflare. Should I have done that? Or does Brizy Cloud provide its own SSL?

Hi,
All Brizy Cloud projects are configured to the SSL certificate but if you publish it using the Server Sync or Export HTML method Brizy can't give and set the SSL certificate. You have to add and set it by yourself on the server.
Best regards,
Sandra0
