    Hi,

What display conditions did you set for the template you use for showing Custom post types? What element did you select for this template?
I notice from your post that you used the Archive element and also said that you filtered the CPT as a category. If you use the Archive element, in this case you can't filter the posts. Could you please give more details on this aspect?
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

What display conditions did you set for the template you use for showing Custom post types?

There were no display conditions set at all. The page and the block itself is showing. However, only that specific Brizy element itself doesn't load on the page.

What element did you select for this template?

I've used the Brizy element "Posts". I used the word "archive" perhaps incorrectly. That's a translation mistake from my part (I use the Dutch translation of Brizy). With the Brizy element "Posts" it is of course possible to use a filter. I hope that clears things up.

I've made sure the CPT's are published and correctly categorized so they should show up.

Any suggestions? Thanks for looking into this.

    Hi,

Thank you for these details! If I correctly understand you added the Posts element into a Brizy Page (on the question what display conditions you set for the template, you said that you didn't set a display condition, therefore I make the conclusion that you didn't create a template) and there you select one Category you set for Pods.
I tried to reproduce the inconvenience you receive but all worked fine https://jmp.sh/oQhebJB. What did I do? I created a Pod and a Taxonomy. After this, I created 2 posts and attached them to the same category https://jmp.sh/KptMFi7. In the Posts element, I selected the tags that are related to the Pods https://jmp.sh/ZznChh7.
Could you please check again all these details?
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

I followed your steps and made a new pod, but cannot make it to work.

Since I have this exact issue on two different sites there must be something specific that we are missing here.

Some extra information about display conditions:

    • The block itself is a global block. It works fine on the page and template it is added (see previous screenshots). It is only the post element that doesn't show.
    • The global block never had display conditions set. But since the last update at got assigned some automatic display conditions. At first I thought it might have something to do with how display conditions now work since the last update (still confusing), but the global block itself shows correctly on the pages it is supposed to show, it's just the post element that doesn't work.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi,

I'm sorry, maybe I didn't understand correctly the problem. Did you face some problems when you try to attach in a template a global block or to insert a global block? If so, I want to say that we know about this problem and our developers are working to fix this issue. I'm sorry if this created you some inconveniences.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

The global block itself loads (on both pages and templates). ONLY the brizy element "Posts" WITHIN that global block does not.

    Hi,

Could you please create a Custom Taxonomy for Vacantum CPT and include all Vacantum Posts in the same custom taxonomy you'll create for them. After this in the Posts element, please filter the posts on that new taxonomy you will create.
For example, you have to go to CPT and create a new Taxonomy "New_taxonomy" and attach it for the Vacantum. After this go to each Vacantum posts and set the same "New_taxonomy" (for example: new_vacantum). In the Posts element on the Category, you have to select the "New_taxonomy -> New_vacantum".

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

Thank you. This worked. I did however have to make one extra step: I had to deselect the original category otherwise it still wouldn't show up.

So, apparently as of now it can only work when you add a completely new Custom Taxonomy.

Glad we found a solution. Will this be fixed in a future update or stay like this? If it stays like this I would like to suggest you update this page with the additional steps: https://www.brizy.io/brizy-pro-toolset-and-pods/ as well as update some youtube tutorials.

Hi I just wanted to inform you that this issue has once again returned on multiple websites. These websites run on the latest brizy and brizy pro. I solved the issue by switching all custom posts back to the original category (no longer the new Custom Taxomy we made) and selecting it once again as a filter in Brizy. So, it is fixed for now, but I fear the day it will once again return after a new update :D

    Hi,

It is a bit strange that you can't see the Custom Posts filter by the Custom taxonomy. Right now I checked again and all worked fine. Great to know that you could fix it.
If you will encounter this problem on other updates, let us know and we will check it more deeply on your dashboard.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra
