Brizy plugin updates

Hello team,

Has there been any recent updates to Brizy? I noticed a few new options for the page builder, and also started getting the error "An error happened while trying to display this element". I am not sure if these 2 are related, so thought I'd ask here. Have shared the error screenshot below.

  Hi,

  Yes, recently we released a new update. Could you please give more details regarding this issue? What elements contain this block? Do you have the latest updates for Brizy Free (2.0.2) and Brizy Pro (2.0.1)?

  Hi Sandra,

  Yes, we have Brizy Free 2.0.2 installed, and tried clearing browser and server cache too.

  We are facing following issues:

  1. Error screen appears for text component, gallery component and footer.
  2. All the saved global blocks have disappeared.
  3. If we try to modify any element while its still throwing the error and try to save it, it refreshes the page and nothing gets stored. So any changes we make to the page are not reflecting.

  A pretty major concern as we need to make some updates to the site asap.

  Appreciate any help here.

  Hi,

  Recently we released new updates for Brizy Free and Brizy Pro. Could you please update them to the versions and check if all is fine now? Brizy Free - 2.0.4 and Brizy Pro 2.0.2
  If you still face this inconveniences, could you please make some basic checks that will not affect your site?

  - If you change the theme do you have the same problem?

  - Do you have the same problem if you disable all external plugins? 

  Let us know if you still face this problem after all these checks, we will create a private ticket.

  Thanks Sandra,

  We have updated the free plugin to 2.0.4 version, and tried both options. Both of them failed to address the issue.

  We have following observations:

  • New update has wiped out the global saved blocks. So whenever we try to make any changes to existing global block, the error occurs.
  • And if we remove the saved global block, then the editor successfully stores the changes.

  Even if we create new global block and try to make any changes to it, same issue occurs.

  Hence, in our observation, Global Blocks needs some fix.

  Let me know the best way to move forward as we'd like this resolved asap pls.
