    Hi,

I'm sorry but I could not reproduce the problem you described. See here. Could you please check if the element you set the negative margins doesn't overlay on another element? If it is under another element or column, yes, will be difficult to access the option for this element. You can set a bigger z-index and the element will be over but in this case, will be difficult to access the option for the element that is under.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hello Sandra,

    Thanks for your reply!

I reproduced the second example: I gave the button section a huge negative offset (which could happen accidentally), and after that, I wasn't able to reach the button section any more for editing. I have recorded a screencast for you to see: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/f804fbd58954280230d5ddb821638db320200803140653/db6f0f32b5265e89fffe4d8edc7879c820200803140718/3106d8.

    Thanks again!

    Hi, Kalle,

I'm sorry but I couldn't open the video you send us. It is in the .mkv and I can't open it. Could you send it in the .mov or .mp4 format?
Also, I notice that you said that you add a huge negative margin/padding. I'm sorry but we don't recommend adding such huge negative values because it can generate some inconveniences on the page. Also, we ask you to check each value that you add for the padding and margin to make sure that that is set with the value you need.
    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hello, Sandra,

Thanks again for your reply. I assume, the video is not needed anymore, because you got the idea of the problem.

Hm, having a UI where it can in practice be impossible to change a value is not so cool... I imagine a client accidentally clicking the wrong button or using numbers they shouldn't.

Other web builders solve this differently afaik. For example, you could have an overview of all blocks (like the one, where you can simply change the order of the blocks), which also allows to reach the other parameters.

    Best regards!

    Hi,

Ok, I can suggest another solution. You can use our newest feature: Absolute and Fixed position of elements. See here a video regarding this feature https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB8Ki6HTXYo. I suppose it can help you with your task.

    Best regards,
    Sandra
