Blog Post Headings
I use a template for blog posts, as shown in the Brizy youtube video - https://youtu.be/cWJEetL4f-s
But whether I'm using the block editor or the classic editor for the post, in the frontend the post doesn't present any headings as they appear in the backend. So, to be more clear, while in the WP editor all headings are visibly well formatted, on the frontend the blog page itself presents all headings as normal paragraphs. Even with the new Brizy 2.0 version this still happens. Is there not a real fix to this?

Hi,
can you please confirm you use the Post Content element in your Brizy template:https://jmp.sh/8KmjdpY ? Also, please make sure you have the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.0.2 and PRO 2.0.1

I'm also facing the same issues.
Here's the example. Am sure very sure of the following:- Brizy free - 2.0.2
- Brizy pro - 2.0.1
- Am using the "Post Content" element.
You can see the issue here... https://zachkong.me/uncategorized/7-reasons-retargeting-campaigns-sucks/

Yes I'm using the Post Content element, just like in the video I refered to in my first post. I also have both Brizy versions updated. Issue persists - the format of the Headings on the blog post are not working. I have also written this problem on another post from another user here and the reply was from your colleague, I will quote:
"

Hi, Ahein,
Yes, we have this issue in our list and our developers are working to fix it. When we will have some updates regarding this issue, we will inform you too, here. I'm sorry for this inconvenience!
Let us know if we can help you with something else.
Best regards,
Sandra"
I think for now the only way to fix this is by me finding some CSS code to make headings work.

hey guys,
you are right. I had a word with devs and I confirm that there are still some style issues with the Post Content element. For now, the only solution is to rewrite the styles with Custom CSS if you are familiar with it.

It's really nothing new... I'm just disappointed these issues haven't been updated with the latest version. I wanted to build another website with Brizy but I will just go back to Divi. Let me know when these issues have been fixed.

I have the same issue. When can we expect a fix with this issue? Also, I can't link anything with my posts either.

Hi,
the heading issue will be fixed soon. Regarding the links: can you please give us more details? Are the links in the post not working or are you referring to the link styles?

Hi Alex,
I try to link a page on my website to the post that I am writing and it works on the backside, but there is nothing to click on the front side. I also can't make any of my words bold or a different color (it won't show up on the front side)

The Brizy developers team could at least provide us all with a CSS code as a temporary alternative for us to make headings work on their own theme for Wordpress! My blog is also affected by this problem when I use a template and the post content element.

We'll fix this soon so we don't need a CSS alternative.

Hi,
I had that same issue on my website. Then it worked, I guess some fix was applied. But the problem came back since I recently made updates on my posts and added new headings. The new headings don't follow the format of the heading. The headings that were already in the blog post look fine. Same thing for new blog posts, all headings don't follow the heading format.
Are you still working on fixing that issue? Thanks.

Hi,
from what I know this was fixed. Are certain styles that don't appear or no style works? Can you please send us a screenshot of WordPress editor and Brizy page?

Hi Alex,
Thank you for your message.
It was fixed but somehow the problem came back. No styles work. In this case, t is supposed to be H3 heading, I changed to H2 and got the same result.
Here is the screenshot of the WP editor: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t67eptubhcz8ljd/Screen%20Shot%202020-10-01%20at%2011.08.46%20PM.png?dl=0

Hi,
thanks for these details. I did some tests and I think I found a weak point. Can you please go to the post template and click on the update button? I think the styles apply once you reset the template settings. Can you please confirm this scenario?

Hi Alex,
I just updated the template but no change on the front end.

one last thing: can you please confirm that you have set the heading styles in the Brizy templates and they do not match in the frontend: https://jmp.sh/oDdk3XS ?
0 -
Yes, see the screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yxner2ksd1ptl1k/Screen%20Shot%202020-10-02%20at%204.49.56%20PM.png?dl=0
The font size should be 35, it looks like it is the same size as the paragraph which is 16.

Hi,
did you set bold or italic for your heading: https://jmp.sh/7sH4w3N ?

Hi Alex,
Yes, I set the heading bold. See screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/amw63lix4hxmkun/Screen%20Shot%202020-10-06%20at%201.09.24%20PM.png?dl=0
Thanks.

This is still a thing? Line Breaks are also still not fixed. It all looks right on WP editor but when we use the Blog template it's a mess in the frontend. I've opened another ticket for this and no solution. Disappointing how basic things like these are still a thing with Brizy after all this time.

Hi,
@THIERRY SANVEE - I think this is the reason. Try disabling bold in the WordPress editor as a temporary solution. It seems that Brizy styles are disabled if you are using bold or italic in the WordPress editor. I've already created an internal issue about this and we will fix this soon. Sorry for the created inconvenience.
@Ahein Coh - You're right, the line break problem hasn't been solved yet. Sorry about that :/

Hi Alex,
You're right. I removed the bold and it looks fine. I'll be ok for now. Let us know when it is fixed.
Thanks.

sure, it will be included in one of the next updates. Sorry for the created inconvenience.
