Icons linking

Hi, it seems that icons are missing a way to apply a link to. It's not so strange that for example a Whatsapp icon is clickable and links to Whatsapp contact... Worst is that is possible to apply an hover effect, but for navigation intent so it seems that something is not working, as nothing happens.

Any workaround to apply links to icons?

  Hi, Enrico,

  Yes, it is possible to add a link to the icon (for both Brizy Cloud and Brizy WP plugin the process is the same). You have to click on the icon, find the "Link" option and from URL sub-option to set the URL you need. See here.

  NO, it is NOT possible, I'm talking about Icon Boxes, as in some situation there is the need to add some text near icons. There ther is NO link provided for icons... See attached screenshot.

   

  BTW: is there any why to puth some text near an icon? If yes can you show me exactly the steps?

  Hi,

  I'm sorry, I didn't know you asked about the Icon from the Icon box. Yes, in these versions of Brizy WP plugins, it isn't possible to add the link to the Icon from Icon box, but in the next update (that we will release soon, in the next days), we will add this option for Icon too. At the moment, you can add the link to the text from Icon box.
  If you can wait for the next update and you need now to add the link to the icon, I can suggest not using the Icon box but the Icon element and text element. You have to add a row with 2 columns. In the first, you have to add the Icon element and in the second column the text element. After this adjust the columns ad style the element.

  Hi, it seems that in last Brizy update you made some involuntary regression on the issue above descripted.

  I mean: after new Brizy release following previous post, I was able to add links to icons inside ICONS BOXES, and I did it. 

  But NOW, after last Brizy update, ICON BOX behaviour is reversed to be like before: I cannot edit links on icons, and worst of all, I cannot MODIFY links on previously published icon boxes!

  Do we have a fix for this yet? The icon box still appears to be lacking the link functionality. Need this pretty badly.

  Could you please give us more details about the problem you encounter? If you are about setting the URL link to the icon from the Icon Box, unfortunately, we didn't receive any updates from the team. In this period we were busy with other more important fixes and feature. I'm sorry for this inconvenience.

  Hi,

  I want to inform you that the Icon from Icon Box element was added to the Link option, therefore you can add the link to the Icon. Make sure that you updated the Brizy Free 2.2.8 and Brizy Pro 2.2.4 to the latest updates and please check this.
