Tab Sizing - Please Allow Us to Size them
Hi! Please correct me if I am wrong - currently, I believe that tab size is dependent on the number of letters in a tab. I would love to be able to size tabs to the width I want and not have them resize automatically, as is the case now. This will allow for a clean uniform look. Thanx for listening! >Mitchell<

Also, I would like more room to type in a tab before it weirdly right justifies text. Thanx!!!

Finally, for tab color, I would appreciate that the tab one picks is allowed to stay a different color defining where the user is.... Accordingly, there would be three states to define with current formatting: normal, hovered (rollover), active. Thanx!

Oops! Here is another thought: I think Brizzy would be made better with sizing handles for the images in tab boxes. See my attachment. I cannot see the full width of the image and it will not let me resize for width. Thanx! Happy to help as I build.

Hi, Mitchell,
Thank you for your feedback and your message.
1 - At the moment, isn't possible to set a fixed width for each tab title but you can add a <br> tag after the word you want to send in the next line. https://jmp.sh/pVXH7ct But if you will use this solution in the tablet and mobile view you will have this break line too. If you are using the Brizy WordPress plugin, in the next update we will add justify align for the Tabs and using it you will have the same width. At the moment this feature is available in the Brizy Cloud.
2 - "I would like more room to type in a tab before it weirdly right justifies text" - If you want to add more rooms in the same tab, you can use the same tips I said you at the 1st point.
3 - Active tabs - yes, we will add this feature in the next update. At the moment it is already available in the Brizy Cloud.
4 - The image element has an option to set the width and height of the image. See here. From here you can choose if you want to set the width and height in the px or % value.

Is there any way to add a second line to tabs without forcing "<br/> " right in there? Each tab should allow you to add elements just like any other part of Brizy. It will allow for a much better complex layout. For example, right now I can't build something like this: https://secure.fabriceleven.com/2unzQb.
In fact, there is no way to build more complex interactive sections other than using the rotator feature. Both tabs and accordions give you complete control of the content area but very limited control of the tab itself. Hopefully, this can be modified easily.

Hi,
Yes, at the moment this type of tabs it is possible to do in Brizy but it will need some additional Custom CSS. At the moment in Brizy Tabs, it is possible to add the icon and style it https://jmp.sh/twrcW2u but will not be possible to add the subtitle. For this, you will need to add the <br> tag. Also for moving the content of the tab above the Tabs Title you will need the same some Custom CSS.
Thanks!

The problem with using <br/> or any other HTML components within the title (div, span etc) is that they are very buggy. They get removed when you copy a tab or if you favorite the section. They also disappear once the editor is reloaded. You can basically use them once and if you don't touch that block ever again you will be ok. This is terrible for the end user since they think they can modify these tabs but instead, it will break the block. Each tab should allow you to add whatever elements you want in it.
You also don't need custom CSS to move content above the tabs you can just use negative margins on that area to move things up/down as you need to.

Hi,
At the moment this feature request is paced on our private internal list (where we have other feature requests) and after our managers will investigate them, we will add in the public roadmap too.
Thanks!Best regards,
Sandra0 -
I would like to second Alex's suggestion for the tabs to be able to support line breaks and custom styling (title vs subtitle via highlighting certain areas).
Also the ability to add an image vs the preloaded icons would be incredible as well.
Thanks,
Ray
