  Hi,

  That grey colour is the background of the site you set in the WordPress or Theme general settings. To change that colour you have to access the Colours -> Background colour from General settings. For example, I have the Twenty Nineteen theme and to change the background colour, I have to go to Appearance -> Customize -> Colors -> Background colours and from there I changed the background colour https://jmp.sh/lX8HwYe.
