Password Protected Template not working
What I did:
- Create a custom post type using CPT UI - I created a custom post type called "Services"
- Created a Brizy template and set its display rule to show up on Services post types
- Created a Service called "My Cool Service" and I set a password on it.
When I visit the "My Cool Service" page, it does not prompt for a password.
If you were to undo what I did in step 2 (Create a Brizy template), it will prompt for a password just fine.

Hi Douglas,
How did you create the template? What elements did you use? I tried to recreate the steps you show but for my all worked fine. See here.

Hi, Sandra!
Some additional information:
- I am using the GeneratePress theme. You can use the free one to test.
- Instead of using that "Brizy" page template, I used the "Default" one, so the template inherits my theme's header and footer
- Basic elements like text. I didn't really design the page that much yet. Created the template Under Brizy >> Templates
What's the safest way I can pass credentials to you to check it out?

Could you please try using the Post Content element? It will extract the entire content from CPT. Here you can find it.
Also, I want to mention that if you already added the password to the post. If you close the post and open it again, the password will be saved in the cache and you will not be asked again to enter it. To test this, you can open the post in the incognito browser.Best regards,

Interesting. The thing is I'm not going to be using any sort of post content.
We'll just be grabbing fields from Advanced Custom Fields and plugging them into the page. Ex. a price field.
So, we'll build a cool template in Brizy and pull in those fields.
I'm available for a screenshare call if that will help troubleshoot.

Hi,
In WordPress, the "Password Protection" visibility option works in such away. It hides only the content. See here.
Best regards,
