ACF Pro repeater field support
Hi, I can't quite tell from the Trello roadmap, but are there any plans to support dynamic data from ACF Pro repeater fields? I really like the look and usability of Brizy, right now I rely on the the Anywhere Elementor plugin to be able to design block layouts for iterations of an ACF repeater field, with dynamic data from the subfields, but I think the Brizy UI is way more intuitive for some small business clients. I can imagine other ways that this could work, like being able to add a custom shortcode placeholder into a Brizy template to fetch data, and then being able to load that Brizy template from within a PHP page template (or another shortcode?) in a repeatable way -- that would let developers us a full range of scripting for the logic, while still letting a client or designer use the Brizy tools creatively. Anything like this on the horizon? I'll probably sign up for a lifetime license soon either way, I'd just love to know if this is something that's on your radar. Thanks!

Hi,
Yes, at the moment we have integrated the Brizy with ACF free version. Yes, we plan to integrate the Brizy with ACF Pro https://trello.com/c/djoK6rvB/125-acf-pro but at the moment I can't say exactly when we will release this. In Progress work, we have other feature and they prioritized but when we will finish them we will start working hard on this integration too.
Thanks!

I agree, if this ability to integrate something as powerful as ACF was possible I would hands down use Brizy for life. Currently it's too limiting with what I can bring into builder.

Hi, Nicholas,
Thank you! Did you find another inconvenience? Could you please give more details regarding this? Maybe I could help you.
Best regards,

Actually as I've thought about it, what might be a more universal system is to simply be able to place a shortcode (or PHP variables or functions or any kind of placeholder really) in a Brizy block, and then be able to load that entire block via PHP, in a page template, custom shortcode, plugin, etc.. That way blocks could be designed visually, but nested within other blocks programmatically, and any kind of functionality could be used to interact with them, looping through ACF repeater fields or anything else. Is that currently possible, or maybe on the horizon? That ability to load Brizy blocks in PHP templates, and nest them within each other, would open up a world of possibilities, as well as a kindof holy grail of easy realtime collaboration between clients, designers, and developers.

I would be looking to build any template I need using the different ACF features. For example, if I was using a repeater (basically a loop) I would expect to create a loop container (like a row/col) that could be adjusted with WP_Query or ACF Repeater parameters so that I could call the ACF subfields just as I would others. Same with reference fields (using PostID of ACF field to then get data from that record), Gallery feature and other more complex field types.
I have a project right now that I must use these features and I'm hoping that I can at least produce shortcode to populate them but for that to work I believe I need the shortcode to receive a dynamic postID. Working on that tonight/tomorrow so we'll see.

Hi, David,
Thank you for your suggestions. At the moment, we think that adding PHP code in the Brizy pages/posts/templates has a big risk and we want to avoid some server problems for us and all our users, but we will take it into consideration.
Thanks!Best regards,

Hi, Nicholas,
Yes, at the moment we don't have integration with ACF Pro and for this reason, isn't possible to integrate into Brizy templates, the repeat fields. Regarding the Dynamic Gallery, yes, at the moment, we don't have this feature yet.
Best regards,
Sandra0 -
any update regarding ACF pro integration?

Hi,
Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have any news related to this. This feature is a bit complex and we are investigating the possibilities to integrate it in the Brizy builder. Also, for this, we need to create the perfect environment and therefore we need to design and build the right base for it. For this reason, we need a bit more time.
Thank you!
Best regards,

Hi,
still no news in this regard :/. It's on our to-do list, but we don't have ETA for it.
