    Hi,

By default in the current version of the Brizy Free (1.0.126) and Brizy Pro (0.0.41), the images opened in the lightbox for the Gallery element doesn't have the arrows. This option will be available in the next updates.
Therefore, I suppose that the arrows and its styles are added by another plugin or by a Custom CSS. Could you please check this?

    Best regards,
    Sandra

When I click on my image (that I have set to open in lightbox) the image that pops ups up does noe look very crisp on my MAC retina screen. It looks very blur and bad. PS: I am using your current Brizy Pro version.

    Hi, Kjetil,

Could you please send us a URL link where we can check this inconvenience? We couldn't reproduce this issue and we have tested the lightbox on the iMac device too. actually, when the image is open in the lightbox, it is displayed in the original sizes of the image. Could you please check if the original image is looking good?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Ok, but how do I send the link to your team private?

You can send the link here and before approving your comment we will delete the URL link.

    Thanks S.,

I do hope you consider to upgrade this support forum with PM messages in the near future.

This workaround feels a bit sketchy.

    Hi,

Thank you for screen record but could you please send us the URL of this page? Would be great if we could also test this page on our iMac devices.
Regarding the support, Community Support can create private tickets in cases when we need to check the problem a bit deeper in the user's dashboard. In other cases, here is the place where you can find faster the help to your problem. For example, if you have a common problem, you can search it in the community and find the solution faster than write to us and wait for the answer.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

A bit difficult sending an URL since I am working on a unpublished project using this program:

    Hi,

For your privacy, I delete the URL link you send us. Thank you! It is a beautiful site! Could you please indicate on what page and block we can reproduce the problem you mentioned?

    Thanks!

    Hi again,

I now have the site uploaded to this server:

    The problem still persist.

+ Also I wonder if it is possible to make a nick in this forum instead of having my whole name exposed to the Google search engine?

    Hi,

I checked the site you send us but images seem to look fine. See here. I checked on the iMac with 25'. For some better results, you can try to optimize images and upload a bit larger images (1200x720px).
Yes, you can change the name is publishing here in the community. For this you have to go to your Brizy account -> Account -> Settings and change the name https://jmp.sh/Z3Ru5gB.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Ok, but it still does not look good on my old macbook retina.

+ I just made a new nick in my profile. Hope it updates soon.

    Cheers

Try to upload a bigger image with 1200x720px.

No, at the moment the name isn't updated. Did you save the changes you made? If you go back into your Brizy account in the Account Settings, do you see the new name you added?

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

No my name does not change after I hit "Save Account Settings".

I even tried to change the password to make it work, but that did not help either.

With what name do you want to set your account? We will try to change it manually.

    Thanks!

Hello, I have found out the reason why my images looks so low resolution compared to my original files:

It looks like Wordpress is downscaling all my uploaded images that are larger than 2560px.

    https://hollypryce.com/disable-image-scaling-wordpress/

I am learning something new everyday.

    Ok,

So the the LightBox does not work with images above 1200x720px?

I see my original images (at 2560  ×  1462) are downscaled to 1200  ×  685 when I download the lightbox popup picture.

    Hi,

In Brizy all images are cropped in 6 examples, for retina and non-retina desktop, tablet and mobile devices. In this article, you can find more detailed information regarding this https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360031704031-How-does-Brizy-handle-images-. Also, if you want to optimize images, here is another great article https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360031340832-How-to-optimise-your-Brizy-images-using-ShortPixel.

In the lightbox, the image is opening regarding the screen resolution. See here https://jmp.sh/SNKIPqe. As you can see the image has different sizes but intrinsic it has the same sizes. On bigger devices this image will not be displayed larger than 1200x975 (for this certain case).

    Best regards,
    Sandra

Do I understand this right: Lightbox images are always limited to 1200 px width? I created this test site:

    https://kiwi4789369.brizy.site

The image shown has a width of 2400 px. When I click on it to open the lightbox, the  image has a width of only 1200 px. This looks very blurry on my MacBook Pro with retina display. I use Safari, Chrome shows the same weird behavior.

How can the pixel size of the lightbox images be increased? I create a website for a photographer and need to show high resolution images.

    Hi,

In most of the cases yes, in the preview the image will not be bigger than 1200px on width. In such a way is calculated the right rate and therefore in such a way is working the lightbox option but this can hurt the images if they are uploaded in larger dimensions. If the image has 2340px (as in your case) and the image is displayed in smaller values, the quality of the image will not be affected. Also, I tested the image about you said and I didn't notice some differences (I tested the site on iMac and on a MacBook Pro). I also checked it also with the original image. See here

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

thanks for testing. So your video confirms my suspicion: Image width is limited to 1200px in the Brizy Lightbox. This is very disappointing.

When I try the lightbox of unsplash.com for example, the resolution goes way beyond 2000px width on my retina display.

I develop a photographers website and need to display images in high resolution, as known from any other photographers lightbox. How can I achieve this with Brizy?

    Kind regards,
    Uli
