Sound on autoplay background videos

we have a page that includes a background video that starts automatically when the user visits, however the sound seems to be off. Is it possible to enable sound for background video in autoplay mode?

  Hi,

  I'm sorry but it is one of browser restriction and the sound from background videos should be set off, therefore we didn't add this option in Brizy builder. https://www.extremetech.com/internet/266253-chrome-66-will-finally-automatically-block-autoplay-audio-videos-sound

  Is there a way to add an On - Off toggle?

  Even better, can we add a volume control?

  How can we add a video background to a section that includes Play and Volume Controls?

  Hi,

  No, in Brizy isn't the On-Off toggle for video sound in the background as some browsers don't allow this. Also, videos in the background can't have the Play and Volume controls.

  Sandra,

  Please explain how I can do this? I'm building websites for 23 musicians. How am I going to include their music videos?

  This is sad, because I really love Brizy, but this will cause my clients (23 musicians) to go with another developer. Please reconsider. May I ask which browser is not allowing videos to auto-start on page load?

  Hi,

  I'm sorry, I would like to help you but this isn't our limitation. We had these options for Video element but when browsers released some new policies, we should respect them. You can add the video in the simple Video element. In Video element we have enabled the Sound-Video controls.
