Hamburger Menu not working
Hi all,
Got a question about the hamburger menu item. I've setup the hamburger menu and selected the menu I use for the standard menu (there it works) and it doesn't work. It shows the hamburger menu, but when you click it doesn't do anything. Could it be that the hamburger menu is a pro item (I'm running the free version)? Can't find that anywhere.
Running Brizy in WordPress 5.3.4
Could it be a version issue?
Thanks in advanced.
Best,
Jason

Hi Jason,
The Hamburger menu option is a PRO option. The menu item in the free version does not have it. How did you add it to the page?

Hi Alex,
That explains it. Added it through a non pro header block. You guys might need to check those blocks if it's a pro version.

We will check this.

Hey! I'm running into the same issue (non-pro version). Additonally, when I try to choose any non-hamburger options the menu is stacked vertically in a bullet point list (picture below). My only option is to make it a hamburger which doesn't work on my version. I've had to revert to the base menu design for Brizy, I really wish the header blocks were working because they look great in the previews.

Hi Samuel,
is this a menu item added from the left sidebar or was it imported from one of the pre-made blocks: https://jmp.sh/xeCOdCp ?

Hey Alex!
The menu that was giving me trouble was imported from one of the premade blocks because I was hoping to edit the style and avoid the underline the menu from the sidebar has by default. I can live with the underline for now, but the menu blocks behaving like they are (see screenshot) is strange to me.
I've checked and I have the latest version installed as well.

Hi Sam,
The menu item is a PRO item in Brizy, but there is a problem and it is displayed in some pre-made blocks in Kit 1. This is a known issue, and of course it should not be possible to import such a block without PRO . For this reason it will not work with the free version. The only way to use the menu in Brizy for free is to add it from the left sidebar. But, it is very limited in the free version.

Hello and thank you for the quick response!
So are all pre-made blocks header blocks a pro item?
I actually read this thread when I was first troubleshooting and removed all premade hamburger menus from my site. However, the problem seems to be that every header is trying to format my menus as hamburger menus, regardless of the format they are displayed in on the block preview page.
If you look back to my earlier comment with the included screen grab, that is the format that every block is putting my menus in and I can't seem to change it (A.K.A. I can't put the menu items in a horizontal line. The Blocks only seem to accept a vertical - bullet point type list). Are there any header blocks that a free user can use?

Hi Sam,
The hamburger menu is an option that comes with the PRO version. With the free version, you have a simple vertical menu with links. Pre-made header blocks should not be accessible for import with the free version, this is an error. At the moment, you can import them, but the thing is that the menu needs the PRO extension for certain functions and, for this reason, it doesn't work for you when you import it with the free version.

Does anyone know why my hamburger menu works on every page of my website except one? Also the accordion thingy works on every page except one. I know it sounds crazy, but I did everything like on every other page.
Why could this be happening?
Kind regards

Hi,
can you please send the link to that page so we can see the problem?
Also, please confirm you have this issue with the latest Brizy versions - Free 2.2.6. and PRO 2.2.2
