    Hi Maximilian,

We didn't test the Brizy with this plugin and we can't say 100% that all will be fine. You can try using it with Brizy Free and if you will found some problems, let us know regarding this and we will investigate it.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

is there a way to edit the code generated by Brizy in the backend, to implement those shortcode elements for opening and closing the brackets?

    Best regards,

    Max

Unfortunately, isn't possible to edit the Brizy code but you can add some scripts in the head and footer of the site.

    Thanks!

    Sandra

Using Brizy I edited the page how I wanted it to look, a couple of “mid level” text and two rows of pictures (two small pictures in one row, one big picture in the second row)

    and published the post.

    All looked perfect.

Then we have to add a plugin shortcode which is restricting published content to registered and logged in users. We are using a  plugin for membership sites called “Groups”

This plugin works with entering an opening element defining the usergroup which will be able to see the content and a closing element.

All content placed in between opening element and closing element will be visible only to members that are logged in and registered.

I added those tho elements switching from brizy editor mode back to classic editor and saved.

All worked the way how it should, the post was displayed correctly and the groups membership plugin worked the way it should.

Some days ago we figured out that the posting was not displayed correctly any longer and tried to fix it. But we could not revise to a version of the site where the content is getting displayed correctly, not even activating revisions that are dated before we placed the groups plugin code. The text is not “mid-level” but “left-justified” text, the pictures are not shown in two rows but one below the other.

This is odd. Also when switching from “classical editor” mode to “brizy editor” the brizy page opens as a blank canvas. None of the elements that were created with brizy before are getting displayed.

Please help us figure out what is going on and how to fix the issue.

Also pls let me know what additional information you would need to be able to do so.

    Hi,

Thank you for all these details. As I said before, we didn't test this plugin with Brizy and we can't guarantee that it will work fine at 100%. If you could make it work and now it has some troubles, it can be caused by another plugin, an update of one plugin, the theme or update of the theme. For Brizy WP plugin we released an update 2 month ago, therefore can't be a Brizy problem. I can suggest investigating the last actions you made on the site, disabling all plugins and activating a WP default theme.
Let me know if I can help you with something else.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

    my main problem is that:

when working on a site with brizy and saving it, then later making some changes (good or bad) I should be able to go back with "revisions" to get back to the site how it was before doing the changes.

This is what is failing right now, I cannot revert to the brizy site before doing the changes. This is a Brizy issue and has nothing to do with any plugin or theme (none of which were added or changed during this process)

How would I revert to a step before doing a change using Brizy?

    Best regards,

    Max

Could you please check if this problem happens on the Brizy page where you didn't add the groups plugin code?
Could you please try to deactivate all plugins (exceptions Brizy Free and Pro) and check if the problem still appears on the new pages edited with Brizy?
I tried to reproduce the problem you mention, but all seems to work fine. See here.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi Sandra,

It seems I found a solution for working with the plugin and brizy. the problem was not caused by other plugins.

I had to use the Brizy Element "Include" one tieme on the beginning and another time on the end of the content that I wanted to restrict to a user group. With "include" you can inject external code to the page code and it works. Just for future reference.

    Best regards,
