Brizy Icon TXT files
Hey, I'm working with a client on speeding up their site and all of the Brizy SVG icon TXT files seem to be a big performance issue. Is there a way that we can directly embed the SVG files into the page versus including them with the TXT file? What format are the TXT files encoded in?

Hi Martin,
Could you please describe the problem you encounter? At the moment, isn't possible to directly include the SVG files into the page. The Brizy icons are loaded as SVG and they are optimized. If you need to additional optimize them, I can recommend adding an optimization plugin (for example Autoptimze). We will continue working on the optimization of the builder and will make it more optimized.
Thanks!Best regards,

Check out the performance report here: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/copilotai.com/Xrnt81Zn#waterfall. As you scroll down you'll notice a TON of .txt files, which are being loaded from all of the Brizy icons we have on the homepage. Instead of loading all of these separate .txt files, it would be nice to see the SVG embedded directly into the homepage code, which would result in better performance. I don't see how Autoptimize would help in this case. How are all of those .txt files being encoded?

Hi,
Thank you for updating us. You can try to activate the gzip compression on your server. Here you can find more details regarding this - https://varvy.com/pagespeed/enable-compression.html

We have tried turning on compressions but that still doesn't help with the fact that we have 30 odd TXT files being downloaded by our users every time the page loads. If the SVG files were directly embedded into the page you wouldn't have this issue. Is there a reason why you opted for this TXT include method versus an inline SVG? At the very least the SVG files should be lazy loaded as opposed to loading them all at once.
Are you able to tell me how those TXT files are encoded? If so, I can probably find my own solution to embed them.

Hi,
I have created a private ticket on this request. You had to receive a notification regarding this on email. Could you send to us in that private message the Cpanel credentials to this site?
Thanks!
Best regards,

Hi Martin & Sandra,
I am actually having exact the same question. Could you please add me to the conversation?

Hi, Jasper,
At the moment, we are waiting for a response from Martin in the private messages. When we will able to investigate more deeply the problem and when we will find a cause and after this a solution, we will notify you here too.
Thanks!Best regards,

Why do you need CPanel access? I can see the same behaviour when I run a speed test on your site: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.brizy.io/CQbFzEhL
Visit the waterfall tab and then do a search on the page for ".txt". You'll see that your homepage is making 202 requests for .txt files that are being loaded by SVG embeds.

It looks like this is adding over a half-second to your page load time. There are other performance tweaks that could be made on your homepage to speed it up a lot, but the TXT file issue is the only one I'm looking into.

Hi Martin,
One of our developers are already investigating this problem and we need the Cpanel to investigate the server settings.
Thanks!Best regards,
Sandra0 -
I pointed out the same issue on your website so if you can fix the SVG TXT files there, then you can fix them on all sites.

I am having the same issue. It is impacting the page speed time in the eyes of the customer. What should I tell them?
