What theme?

Hello, I'm a german webdesigner and new to Brizy. I really like it and plan to buy Pro. I see Brizy as a plugin and also how I use it. But Brizy isn't the theme yet. I still don't understand if I need a special theme? Can I take any theme? Is a special theme important or useful?

And, does it make sense or ist it possible to work with a childtheme?

  Hi,

  thank you for your interest in our product. Brizy is a builder and if you want to use it in WordPress you will need to have a theme installed. We already have a lot of built-in options so many things can be done directly in the builder and you don't need a theme with many options. You can use any theme with basic functionality like the default ones from WordPress or our Brizy Starter Theme. https://github.com/ThemeFuse/Brizy-Starter-Theme 

  If you want to have a more complex site with more e-commerce options, for example, you can opt for a theme that we recommend here: https://www.brizy.io/theme-partners/

  Also, I would recommend you to take a look at our Brizy Cloud platform: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360026950392-What-is-Brizy-Cloud- Here you no longer need themes or any external tools. The platform is constantly evolving and many options will be added along the way, but if you need a presentation site then Brizy Cloud is perfect for you.

  Thanks, that helps me. I've already seen the possibilities. I plan to use both. Brizy plugin for complex websites and also the cloud for landing pages etc.
