creating one big block or many blocks?

hey guys,

 

in terms of wordpress site speed optimization is there any difference between creating one big block with images, headings and big article or would it be better to break such a block down to several smaller blocks? Maybe there is less code to work with when its one single block as opposed to several smaller blocks  (I am not a coder or anything so I don't if that even makes any sense)

 

Or was the main function of blocks to allow flexibility when it came to moving blocks quickly and easily around the page?

  Hi Ilyas,

  It isn't a great difference in terms of site speed optimization between having one big block and having many blocks but we recommend the second way and create many blocks. We recommend this in terms of usability because in such a way is easier to manage content, add anchor links and more others.
