Brizy WP on localhost needs internet access

I did not have internet access for several days, but continued working on a localhost installation of a website.  (It had been set up before I lost internet.) 

I found that I was able to do everything normally with one major exception.  After making changes on a page in Brizy they did not show up on the actual page.  Trying to create a page in Brizy looked like it would work, but Publish created a blank.  Preview also was not functioning correctly. Editing or creating a page in Gutenberg worked fine. 

Does Brizy actually need internet access?

  Yes, Brizy needs access to the internet even if you run it on the localhost.
