Need a "Cross Out Text Feature"
Here is another gap in your text editor. We need to be able to cross off some text so a person is communicated a certain message. For example, if my regular price is $495 and Im having a sale, I need to be able to cross through the $495 and have the sale price next to it. Here is a video showing you in my current editor what I mean. https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uYxm4E

Hi Ed,
Yes, at the moment we don't have this option in brizy builder but you can add an inline CSS code and strikethrough text. For this, you have to add this code <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">Word</span> and instead of "Word" you have to add the string you want to strikethrough. Here is an example https://jumpshare.com/v/0oQ1AH84Mx2bLte4m2yX - in the editor, you will the code and the text will not have the line-through, but in the preview, all will look fine.
Thanks!

What if I have this "amount" somewhere else, will it cross it out as well? Seems like I need to add CSS at the page level not sitewide?

But thanks for the work around.

Hi Ed,
Yes, this Custom CSS you have to add in the page for the word you want to underline.

do you know what that would look like if I added the page to the CSS you provided?

Hi,
The CSS I provided can be added only inline. It can't be added globally for the page or site. Also, it is a bit difficult to add a CSS code to underline some words or texts, because in this case for all word and text you want to add this CSS code, you have to add the same class and it makes the work harder to manage.

LOL you're funny. So what you are saying is I can't use what you showed me because I cannot access the HTML of the page within Brizy?

Hi Ed,
I didn't say anything funny and I didn't touch the subject with accessing HTML of the page. I said that the code I provide you should be manually added for all words you want to underline because it is a CSS inline code. There are 3 ways to add CSS: external, internal and inline https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_howto.asp

Ok sorry if I came across sarcastic. Didn't know there was a way to do in-line CSS. Never heard of it before. So thanks for your efforts to help me fix the issue and again my apologies for coming across unappreciative.

Hi, one year passed ... still no crossed out text?

Hi Martin,
That was implemented already. Using "Text" element you have option to cross out text: View screenshot.

Hi Martin,
Sorry for misleading. This option is available in Brizy Cloud, but not in WordPress plugin yet. This will be added in one of the nearest plugin updates. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Best regards,
Denis.-1
